from says: 09/06/2007
Good, rich flavor with a bit of an acidic bite. It's becoming a favorite around the office.

from says: 03/28/2007
I didn't particularly like this pod, mostly because I felt like the strength was very weak. I own a simplehuman and preferred the Reunion Island flavored coffees; with 52nd street I had to use the 5 oz size or I felt like I was drinking colored water.

Glenn from Honolulu says: 07/11/2006
Never liked flavored coffees till i tried this one. Delicious and not too much vanilla. Favorite coffee at night.

from says: 07/19/2007
great tasting coffee, I will definitely include this one in every order

from says: 09/28/2007
I didn't notice any nutty, or fruity, or tones to this coffee. After all the good reviews I was disappointed that my taste buds weren't excited.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 02/18/2007
My favorite so far. If you are a dark roast fiend like me, this is the pod for you. It has aroma and taste just like freshly brewed coffee without the hassle. I have tried many and this is the absolute best so far. Thanks to bettercoffee.com for carrying this fantastic choice.

from says: 06/02/2007
This is my Favorite pod from bettercofffe.com so far. Great Aroma and dark roast taste without any bitterness

Frank from Henderson says: 07/14/2007
Rich flavor without bitterness or burnt taste. I used the 9 oz setting on the Bunn to fill a standard coffee cup. I'll buy more of these.

Richard from Katy says: 09/19/2007
full flavor and robust rich dark coffee that starts the day with a boost.

Jeff from Tucson says: 06/02/2007
I had high expectations and it turned out This was the Worst pod I received In the flavored sampler pack. Brewed very weak coffee and not much flavor.

Maru from Oceanside says: 02/04/2007
This was the winner in the sampler of flavored coffees I bought when I first got my KP1010 as a christmas gift. I like the rich flavor. Mostly almond and subtle on the mocha fudge.

Alicia from Chillicothe says: 04/27/2007
This was in the flavored variety pack & I am glad it was! The flavor is delicious without being overwhelming.

from says: 05/09/2007
My first time brewing this,i could just smell the yummy flavors! This is the best mocha almond coffee i have ever had!

Scott from Flower Mound says: 06/26/2007
My wife is the flavored coffee drinker (I'm just the buyer) but she wouldn't reorder this one. This is one of the two that she liked least out a smattering of brands and flavours that she tried.

Ivan from Ambler says: 09/05/2007
Wife liked it with skim milk. Tried it with my Cremora and LOVED it. Strange but true.

from says: 09/13/2007
I received this one in a Flavor Sampler pack. I found the flavor somewhat unusual, very heavy on the almond, less so on the fudge. While I wouldn't say it was bad, I wouldn't purchase it again either.

from says: 07/17/2007
This was pretty weak for a dark coffee. My wife who prefers light blends did like it when I ran it through more than once.

from says: 10/10/2007
The coffee was fine, but I lost several pods to poor packaging. The packs don't open as easily as many others, and with the way the pod sits in the package, a few pods ripped open while trying to open the foil. In addition, a couple of other pods were leaking coffee grinds without my ripping them -- perhaps due to being "short seamed".

Tina from Smyrna says: 05/25/2006
This is a pretty decent every day cup, if you like a darker roast. Low-acid, with bittersweet chocolate notes, and a smoky finish (not overpowering tho). I didn't taste butternut flavors, but it was first thing in the morning. Did get a hint of spice in the smoke on the backend.

Ivan from Ambler says: 09/05/2007
Whatever the touch of spice is, makes it unique and distinctive. Wasn't expecting it, but WOW! Better than Aloha, even--and lighter in the pocketbook.

Eric from Moon Twp says: 04/24/2006
Excellent coffee. I don't normally drink flavored coffee, but I love this one. Full bodied and smooth, with an incredible chocolate finish. I had one after lunch, today, and it stayed with me for a couple of hours!

Tina from Smyrna says: 06/02/2006
God, this a good pod. It is nice and thick with a great mouthfeel, and the flavor is excellent - not over-powering, not chemically - just delicious. Cream and Sugar are a must, to bring out the flavor, but it's definitiely a pod i will buy to keep for regular use (only on weekends tho!) This cup will leave you feeling full. It is very rich.

Rebecca from Gaithersburg says: 06/29/2006
Amazing, very smooth...a perfect cup :)

Alicia from Chillicothe says: 04/27/2007
Very smooth coffee.

Kellie from brooklyn says: 05/09/2007
This is my new favorite coffee!!!! It's the best choccy coffee i have ever tasted..The chocolate isn't overpowering.Yet it's a good strong cup of joe'

Mark A. from El Paso says: 10/12/2007
Extremely Smooth Taste. I would consider this a light to medium coffee that is exceptionally smooth with no bitterness. It leaves a nice sweet taste in your mouth after going down that hints a bit of chocolate. I am not really a flavored coffee person, but this one is really nice. I drink my coffee black too, so the differences in coffee types/brands seems a little more apparent.

from says: 11/23/2007
considering the price, I found this a little disappointing.

Joslyn from Ridgway says: 02/04/2008
Very Smooth with a subtle chocolate flavor. My New Favorite!

connie from mooresville says: 10/13/2008
I love this pod. I keep coming back to it over and over again. I like it as a change from the norm. Bold and unique. I don't like the price but I can' make myself stop buying it, occasionally.

Rebecca from Gaithersburg says: 06/29/2006
The best hazelnut coffee I've ever had!

from says: 03/11/2007
Brewed with a Bunn My Cafe using the 6 ounce setting, black with sugar. I enjoy this flavored brew a lot but do not think it worth the cost, hence the lower rating.

Greg from Warrenton says: 05/02/2007
My favorite. Good flavor, not bitter.

Benjamin from Woodside says: 04/19/2008
A nice light coffee. Very smooth, not bitter. Using with my Simplehuman, I have to brew with the green filter because of the thinness of the pod.

from says: 06/05/2009
The flavoring had a chemical flavor and the coffee itself was weak.

from says: 03/21/2007
Wow - look no further when you really want to treat yourself to a great decaf pod!

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/18/2007
Very good flavor, rich but not bitter. I used this as my weekend morning coffee to be savored and enjoyed. Is it worth over $1 a pod. I think the Gourmet Cafe dark roast is just as good, and alot cheaper. Still Kona impresses everyone I served it to.

Deborah from Pomona says: 02/07/2009
I almost wish I'd never tried this. Now I am hooked and it's not exactly the most reasonably priced coffee! However, it is totally worth the price. This is an amazing cup of coffee that has spoiled me for everything else. Dark, rich, smooth...really just perfect. I still get the Lava Java (incredible in its own right) for everyday use, but the Diamond makes for a wonderful treat. Five stars all the way.

from says: 05/22/2009
Compared to other Magnum Opus coffees, the Gold lacks a bit of smoothness but makes up for it with a bold, robust finish. This isn't my everyday coffee (too much $$ for that!), but this is what I go for when I really want a great cup of coffee.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Really disappointed, no flavor.

from says: 06/05/2009
Not worth the money. The variety pack had too many flavored pods which all had a chemical flavor. The other coffee pods were rather weak. My spouse and I were disappointed.

Don from Marshall says: 07/14/2007
I'm not sure what i'm rating here but I thought it was Lava Java. I just noticed several reviews talking about 'flavored' coffee, not sure what that's about but Lava Java is the absolute best coffee pod there is out there, in my opinion. And I can't tell one bit of difference between the 'blend' and the 100% kona either. Whoever said this was weak, must have accidentally brewed a used pod. Awesome coffee here.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 04/20/2006
This is a pricey selection but well worth it when you need a treat. It delivers very rich, dark coffee flavor with a sort of fruity overtone. I love it!

from says: 09/29/2007
Lava Java is a very lady like coffee, very dainty, soft, fairly smooth and mellow. It has a fairly faint bitter taste...a bit of a bite. Lava Java is a good cup of coffee, but because of lack of flavor, full body, and fruit or nut tones I have to give it 3 big stars.

from says: 12/07/2008
Lava Java is still the best pod I've tried. (Second best would be Aloha Island Chocolate Paradise.) Both are dark and intense, but really smooth. The person who said this lacked flavor and a full body must have brewed 8 oz on one pod. This is best with a ratio of one pod to one 4 oz cup. If you have a Senseo Pro that makes a 5oz cup, 5 oz is still good, but that's the most I'd go on one pod. Unbelievably good coffee, so much so that I have stopped going for cappucino at Starbucks. Best served with a big squirt of Reddi-Whip!

Heather from McLean says: 06/23/2009
I have tried numerous pods in my quest for a great, dark, and rich cup of coffee and this is by far my favorite. It is rich and has a slight acidity. Really great cup of coffee. I even like it better than the 100% Kona which is more expensive.

Eric from Moon Twp says: 04/29/2006
(Note: I reference a review that I posted of the Gold pod). And now for the Diamonds. A little more subtle, or smoother than the Gold. There seems to be more going on with this coffee. Complex? Yeah, that's it. Another excellent coffee. A bit much for 0530. I would save this for the afternoon, or evening, when my brain is functioning. So far, I'm partial to the Gold, although, if I had a box of each I could see my tastes shifting towards the Diamond as I got used to it.

Tina from Smyrna says: 05/29/2006
Hmm..perhaps this blend is too esoteric for my tastes. It has a nice aroma and body, but in my mouth, all i get i smoke, and a bit of acid twinge on my tongue for the after-taste. The mouthfeel is nice and thick. I'm sorry to say the Diamond flavors are lost on me. I still give it 3 stars, for being a strong and thick coffee, and being drinkable.

Mark A. from El Paso says: 11/10/2007
This coffee was my first 100% Kona. I have had the Aloha Islands Chocolate Paradise 20% Kona blend in the past, and actually preferred it a little more. Although Gold is perfectly smooth, I think it needs a little more taste to it. It seems to be so smooth that it gives me the feeling of tasting slightly watered down. So it is great, but not perfect. I am not a big fan of flavored coffee, but for upper end coffee, I highly recommend trying the Aloha Islands Chocolate Paradise (20% Kona Blend).

Eric from Moon Twp says: 04/29/2006
It's 0530 in Pittsburgh, and I'm sipping a cup of AI Magnum Opus Gold. I wish I was a little more adept a reviewing coffee, I don't think I can do it justice. Well, here goes. The initial sip has a bit of a bite. More like a bold flavor, than due to the roast level. It's the after taste (finish?) that really impresses me. It's mellow, yet full and satisfying. It leaves me craving another sip, but I don't want to rush it. This taste really stays with you. The best cup of coffee I can recall drinking.

Walt And Hedy from Valparaiso says: 05/17/2006
Wow! This one absolutely fantastic. A full flavored taste, smooth aftertaste with no bitterness all the way to the end. This will become my favorite very quickly

Tina from Smyrna says: 05/28/2006
This is very very smooth. Nice Kona flavor, and a very smooth backend, with a mellow aftertaste.

Eric from Moon Twp says: 05/09/2006
And now for the Platinum. Smooth? Like Clapton playing the blues. What a treat.

Tina from Smyrna says: 05/28/2006
When this was brewing I got that carmelly Kona smell that I adore. The coffee itself is quite smooth - as smooth as, if not smoother than the Gold. The finish is sort of fruity (apricot?) moving into smoky notes that get left on the palate. A very good cup of coffee.

from says: 09/21/2008
This coffee came in the Aloha Island Kona Blend Sampler Pack. The vanilla flavoring tasted artificial and seemed to leave an aftertaste, so I wouldn't order this one again.

from says: 12/31/2008
Really enjoyable aroma and taste. The flavor definitely enhances the coffee

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/21/2007
My very favorite so far!! Nice body and excellent flavor!!

from says: 01/10/2008
Also my favorite pod so far. Perhaps I should get together with the previous poster for a cup of this smooth, flavorful, and crisp coffee. 5 stars

from says: 01/09/2009
Pretty good light chocolate taste, especially with a little sugar and cream.

Tara from Montague says: 02/22/2010
This coffee is pretty weak without adding creamer. I added white chocolate creamer, and it made this coffee much better.

from says: 02/16/2008
Rich and smooth, great with sweetener and cream. Best flavored coffee pod I've had and it will become a regular of mine.

from says: 02/26/2009
This coffee is the best! Rich chocolaty flavor, and thank you for the decaf!!!

Tina from Apopka says: 12/28/2009
I keep coming back to this one! It's a great after dinner cup of coffee - makes you not miss dessert so much, and as a decaf it won't keep me up all night!

Charles from Owasso says: 04/29/2008
This was not what I expected, but it was still really good. It's a smooth blend coffee. The hazelnut is a bit mute in this pod but that's good since it can easily overshadow the other tastes. The cinnamon taste is not too strong either. It all blends very well. I drink my coffee black but I got the sense that I could add some sugar to this coffee and have liquid cinnamon rolls. This would make a nice breakfast or dessert coffee.

from says: 01/09/2009
Nice cinnamon flavor, though couldn't detect the hazelnut flavor at all, still enjoyed it though.

Mary Jane from Findlay says: 08/01/2009
This is what I love about BetterCoffee . com. What company takes the time to make up samples or let you buy individual pods? 100 stars to BetterCoffee. I have really enjoyed the coffees I've tried from this pack, cant wait to try them all.

from says: 07/13/2008
Really dissapointed... the website neglected to mention that the 10g pods require some special handling when using a Senseo. I've tried sevceral pod types and wasted many. Basically can only use 4oz.cup twice to get even a decent cup and some produced more of a "coffee tea" than a rich cup of coffee because I can't lock the machine on for 1 pod holder size and then too watery when I follow the "special" directions using the 2 pod holder. Note: Special Senseo directions came with the order but I would rather have known the issues before ordering.

connie from mooresville says: 10/13/2008
For the love of God! You're supposed to rate the coffee. If you are going to invest in great coffee, invest in a great coffee maker. I have a BUNN and every pod I get here, including this sampler pack I have bought over and over again, turn out great! I love the 10G pods. I actually end up with a cup of coffee I can smell and taste as opposed to colored murky water.

Erik from South Park says: 02/07/2009
For the record I have a Senseo and have no problems with these pods. They fit fine and the coffee is not watery (like it is with the official Senseo pods). I don't even need to use the two-pod holder if you just flatten the pod out a little in the single pod holder.

Linda from Sacramento says: 10/29/2009
Most are excellent. Price is right.

Kym from Burlington says: 05/27/2010
I have a Senseo and love the pods. I get a strong (my preference) wonderful cup every morning.

Elizabeth from Chicago Ridge says: 06/20/2007
This is a perfect way to try all the coffees and not have to purchase them in large amounts. I loved trying the different flavors. PERFECT!

Dena from Irving says: 06/14/2008
Love this sampler. I'm back ordering it for a third time.

connie from mooresville says: 09/18/2008
There are so many great flavored pods in this box I couldn't believe it! The Aloha chocolate paradise was awsome and I love all the cafejo ones too.

Bill from Madisonville says: 12/27/2008
Thanks SO much for having a variety pack. I'm making my way through the box and have enjoyed everything so far. Having two pods of each gives my wife and I both a chance to sample flavors before buying a box of them.

Bridget from Greer says: 04/22/2009
Great sampler pack. I loved being able to try a little bit of everything! Only one pair of pods didn't come with a name printed on them, so we just called that one our mystery blend!

Chris from Lake Charles says: 11/12/2008
I love the Samplers. Keeps me from getting bored with any particular flavor.

Elizabeth from Chicago Ridge says: 06/20/2007
Purchased this to try the flavors. EXCELLENT! There wasn't one I didn't like. Great way to have some variety without many boxes sitting around.

Shyang-Min from Flushing says: 11/28/2009
I tried all of them and none of them meet my standard. I think they need some better tea here. Maybe try to find some asian dealers?

from says: 01/09/2009
Really enjoyed the chocolate raspberry flavor, it reminded me of a chocolate raspberry truffle... great with a little sugar and cream for dessert.

from says: 03/06/2008
This is my wife's #1 flavored pod. It is a top 3 for me. We have tried a wide variety of brands and flavors. Hence, the 5-stars.

from says: 01/09/2009
Really disliked this one, custard flavor is too overwhelming, the aftertaste is horrid. Sadly it is lacking the caramel-y sugar coating flavor that I look forward to with creme brulee. If you are looking for a strong vanilla custard pod, this is for you, otherwise try another brand.

Gary from Concord says: 02/13/2008
Loved this. Nice bold dark roast without being overly complex. This is a good "through the day" type of coffee. It's clean with good body, not a huge coffee (like the cafejo Espresso Italiano), but it has enough going on to keep me happy. My "go to" coffee pod.

Irwin from Spokane says: 10/18/2007
Much better than Senseo's Dark! more smooth with good flavor. 4 stars

Charles from Owasso says: 04/30/2008
I really liked this one too! I was trying to figure out how to describe it and came very close to Gary's description. It's a bold dark roast, not too smoky. Really good flavor. I'll be buying lots of this.

Kimberly from Kent says: 11/30/2008
This has become my everyday favorite. It's very smooth with no burnt taste, but still has a dark rich flavor.

Paul from Shreveport says: 01/08/2009
Good when brewed with the gunsmoke dark. A good dark coffee!

from says: 06/01/2009
Tried this one in the sampler and I'm back for more. Works great in the Senseo, nice and dark with a great smooth flavor.

from says: 10/29/2007
Bitter and not full bodied or flavorful. Doesn't come close to Black Mtn Gold's Kenya AA.

from says: 03/31/2008
I'm not a connoisseur of ACTUAL donut shop coffee, so I can't compare this to Dunkin Donuts' coffee. But I do love this pod when I'm eating something sweet--it's the perfect companion. Also, this light & bright coffee is nice on its own as a "wake up" coffee. It's not very complex, but it's flavorful and just exactly strong enough.

from says: 09/06/2007
Looking for a coffee that is perfect for to go with brunch? This is the one. Looking for a coffee to go with fresh pastries? This is the one. Even though as the name implies it so good you'll reach for another donut, it is great as a dessert by itself.

Irwin from Spokane says: 09/27/2007
Good coffee, but not as smooth as real Dunkin Donuts coffee, also had a strange after taste.

from says: 09/29/2007
Strange mildewy aftertaste.....mild cup of joe. Overrated by the Pod community.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 11/08/2007
Not too impressed with this one. I won't buy it again.

from says: 11/09/2007
strange dirty paper aftertaste...the coffee is weak and flavorless as well. Overrated and doesnt taste like any donut shop I'd like to buy coffee from...well perhaps the dirty one a few blocks from my house if your into that

from says: 11/04/2007
Baronet's European is a dark roast, but much better than Senseo's dark roast. European blend is smoother than most dark roasts, with good mouth feel.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Pretty good, bit of a sour note on the finish.

from says: 02/26/2009
Excellent coffee. Just not quite as good as pure Costa Rican or Guatemalan. But better than 95% of the competition. Love the decaf!

Irwin from Spokane says: 10/29/2007
A smooth and bitterless cup of good coffee. Could have been more full bodied and flavorful...4 stars

Bridget from Greer says: 02/05/2009
Very smooth, but I found I needed to use two pods for an 8 ounce cup or it came out quite weak. I still like this one though, the smell of the coffee while it's brewing is enticing and exciting.

from says: 09/29/2007
Strange paper aftertaste. Could be good if they used some better tasteless filter pod paper. Interesting concept. However, The coffee could have been more rich and robust. But still worth a try

from says: 11/09/2007
weird combo...but the mildewy filter taste comes thru in the coffee ruining any potential buy in fantasy you may have when closing your eyes and trying to imagine coffee and mint chocolate mixed together in a hot beverage...a shame! it could have been interesting. Baronet needs to look into their paper or their flavor sealing methods...Stale comes to mind in alot of their pods

Scott from Flower Mound says: 03/06/2008
As flavored pod devotees, this one just didn't do it for us.

Bridget from Greer says: 11/16/2008
Quite good! Got two as samples along with the other flavored sample assortment and these were our favorite. Out of the 7 or 8 varieties we sampled, this is one we are definitely ordering in the future!

from says: 07/21/2007
Bought one of these for work, and I'm impressed. Quickly makes a very hot cup, extracts great flavor, and is well built. Stands up to many users per day. Since the flavor is so good and I can brew a cup quickly any time of day, I'm considering one for home.

Walter from Hobe Sound says: 08/07/2008
Hands down the best coffee maker we have ever had in our office. A perfect cup every time.

from says: 02/26/2009
Fantastic product,20% more extraction than my Krup, with a deeper, richer taste. A bargain at this price.

Josh from Wahoo says: 06/28/2006
Excellent coffee, with a hint of cinnamon that tastes great. It is a medium roast. It smells great to, it really does smell like Cinnamon Crumb Cake

Nick from San Diego says: 01/23/2007
The first time I tried this, it was purchased from my local grocery store for twice the price. It has a light cinnamon taste and I highly reccomend it if you're into flavored coffee - it has a different pleasing taste to change things from some of the darker roasts that I'm used to....oh and the price is great to at $5.79.

Elizabeth from Chicago Ridge says: 06/20/2007
I didn't care for this flavor. Although I love cinnamon and coffe I didn't care for the combination in this coffee.

Scott from Flower Mound says: 06/26/2007
My wife is the flavored coffee drinker (I'm just the buyer) but she wouldn't reorder this one. This is one of the two that she liked least out a smattering of brands and flavoures that she tried.

Christopher from Springfield says: 09/14/2007
Received this as part of the Flavor Sampler pack. Nothing really stood out about it. It had a very subtle cinnamon flavor and an artificial smell to it.

Kenneth from Gilmer says: 12/17/2007
My wife and I both like this coffee. She seldom drinks flavored coffee, but always wants me to reorder this one. It would never be my first cup of the day (too mild) but a great mid afternoon cup.

from says: 01/15/2008
Just delightful. I was put off by the so-so reviews and only tried this when I ordered the sample pack. From now on, I will keep this one in my favorites and order it when I run low.

Charles from Owasso says: 05/07/2008
I've found I'm not as fond of the flavored coffees as I am the plain blends from everywhere. This was one of my favorite flavored coffees so far. I enjoyed this one more than the Baronet Cinnamon Hazelnut. Good taste, mild medium roast. Good coffee to go with dessert or after a meal.

Mary Beth from Yonkers says: 05/30/2008
VERY bland tasting. Could not taste the cinnamon at all. I love flavored coffee, but not this one! Would not buy again.

from says: 10/02/2007
A very full bodied strong coffee. A little too intense for me and somewhat bitter also.

Brad from Suffolk says: 08/15/2007
Really like this and works flawlessly in a Senseo.

Charles from Owasso says: 05/01/2008
This is a good coffee. I'll order it again. It's a full bodied dark roast with very little smoky flavor but it does have strong notes of caramel and nuts. It's a little bitter but not too much. I didn't catch the citrus/berry flavors as mentioned above.

from says: 07/03/2010
While I am a fan of most of your dark roast I find this to be a one note burnt in no way rich dark taste. Was very dissapointed.

Eric from Greenwood Village says: 02/08/2007
I found Black Mountain more full bodied than Gourmet Cafe, but not as flavorful as Eldorado.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 02/15/2007
Surprisingly good. Hard to tell it is decaf. Out of the decaf sampler it was definitely the winner for me. Order this one if you need or want a good decaf pod that doesn't make you feel sorry for yourself that you cannot drink the "real stuff".

Greg from Monrovia says: 02/27/2007
The best decaf I have ever tasted (pod or otherwise). Some decafs have a disturbing chemical "after smell" - i.e. after taking a drink you get this solvent smell. I cannot tell the difference between this coffee and regular - really smooth flavor.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/30/2007
Very good coffee!! Can't tell it is decaf, the flavor IS that good. I could drink this exclusively!! Definitely on my list of favorites!!

Scott from Yardley says: 11/22/2007
This is an excellent Decaf pod. One of the best I have tried. I rated it 4 stars, as getting a 5 with me will be tough!

Kyle from Rochester says: 03/29/2008
The Black Mountain brews a strong and rich cup that doesn't have a "decaf" flavor. The roast is very dark, however, so if you like full-city like me, don't look here.

from says: 02/26/2009
My favorite plain decaf coffee by far. This one plus the Baronet's Chocolate decaf are all you need to get you through the day, and great for every occasion.

Naomi from Pearl River says: 06/18/2009
Excellent, rich decaf coffee

Steven from Minnetonka says: 10/23/2009
One of my favorites. Smooth and rich flavored, it has surprised friend and family to find that it was decaf.

MARTIN from POTOMAC says: 01/21/2007
Cosistently bitter. Harsh after taste. Not smooth. Unappealing aroma. I take my coffee black w/ sugar.

from says: 02/17/2007
This is my favorite coffee. I'm surprised the other rater disliked it so -- I find it very smooth with a great aroma. Different tastes, I suppose.

Greg from Monrovia says: 02/27/2007
Great coffee - I found the tones mellow and the taste full. I went through 2 boxes and just ordered 4 more!

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 11/07/2007
I found this coffee very good. My favorite is still Moka Java, but I always order a couple of these for that little change of pace.

Richard from Milford says: 11/27/2007
Best Kona blend I have found to date. A house favorite.

Charles from Owasso says: 04/30/2008
Good taste, somewhat complex yet bold and smooth. A touch of caramel and earthy tones. This one goes on my shopping list.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Good, not great, wouldn't buy again.

Alice from Thornton says: 02/22/2010
Somehow managed to be both bitter and weak. I may have gotten a poorly controlled batch - usually BMG coffees do well with my simplehuman brewer, but these pods required several restarts and pod-flipping to brew a cup.

Thomas from Winnipeg says: 05/21/2006
I tried the Black Mountain Gold Kenya AA this afternoon. I found it a medium coffee, but very 'bright', somewhat acididc and very nutty upfront. Had it on the 7 oz setting in the Bunn My Cafe. Very nice. Drunk without milk or sugar.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
Nice and Acidic just like Kenyan Coffee Should be. It's a 4oz pod in my Senseo. I found it far too weak at 8oz.

Chris from Memphis says: 06/21/2007
I did not like this at all, tasted of wheat or some type of grain. Blindfolded, I wouldn't be able to identify this as coffee.

from says: 07/08/2007
I enjoyed this after dinner. Great full taste, not too bitter. 8oz. in OPOD, no milk or sugar.

from says: 10/29/2007
Very well rounded cup of coffee. Not bitter at all, nearly full bodied. The best Kenyan coffee i've tried yet!

Charles from Owasso says: 05/07/2008
Good cup of black coffee. I found mine good and strong on the 8oz. cup. Nice and smooth, a bit nutty and good body from my Senseo. This one is going on my favorites list.

Neil from Somerville says: 12/31/2008
Flavorful and smooth

from says: 03/10/2008
My favorite mid-morning coffee, rich, slightly bitter- goes great with sweets.Great nose, full body. Best coffee from my Senseo.

pierre-paul from St-Hubert says: 07/30/2008
I've ordered differant brands and this one is really outstanding. great strong taste

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
Really nice and complex. DOes have a chocolate finish to it. Again this really is a 4oz pod in a Senseo, not an 8oz pod. This is the best pod I've had from BetterPods.

Glenn from Honolulu says: 07/11/2006
Love this coffee, need to have it on hand always.

from says: 01/26/2007
Spicy and interesting. One of my favorites.

Greg from Monrovia says: 02/27/2007
I liked the Kona blen better, but this is also a nice selection.

from says: 09/24/2007
I drink so much coffee sometimes I don't remember which pod I used, but this one definitely stands out for me. Very full and smooth, leaves no acidic after-taste even when the coffee cools. This is my favorite so far. I take my coffee with a little bit of creamer, no sugar.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/21/2007
I am impressed with this coffee, but I missed the chocolate taste in mine.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 12/23/2007
This is actually my 2nd favorite blend. Gourmet Cafe French Roast is my favorite, but won't work in the single pod holder in my Senseo. This one does and I rate it a 4.9! Rich delicious taste with no bitter aftertaste.

from says: 02/01/2008
Of the 8 flavors of pods I have tried so far at this site, this is my favorite. Flavorful yet smooth, and contrary to Samuel, I can use one pod for an 8 oz cup in my Senseo. :) I use real heavy cream and artificial sweetner.

Anthony from Claymont says: 05/02/2008
My favorite decaf pod, period.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/26/2007
Not impressed with this coffee. Lacks body and the flavor is rather flat. Not nearly as good as your 50/50 or the Mocha Java Decaf!!

Anthony from Claymont says: 05/02/2008
I also prefer the Mocha Java from Baronet which is one of my favorite decaf pods. Still, overall a nice blend.

David from Valencia says: 07/19/2009
Our favorite. We keep going back to this one. Smooth, not a hint of bitter and rich without being too bold.

from says: 11/10/2007
The name sounds great (although I've been burned by good names before). However, this has become one of my favorite flavored coffees. Really nice blend of complex flavors.

from says: 09/27/2007
There are few flvored coffees that I like, and Toasted almond tasted weak bodied.

Scott from Flower Mound says: 03/06/2008
I would say this one is servicable in a pinch. Not a favorite, but not so bad that you dread finishing off the box.

lisa from New Castle says: 11/30/2007
Great product!!! After years of using senseo pods, I am so glad I finally switched!!!

from says: 01/09/2009
really nice light chocolate flavor, great with some sugar and cream, one of my favorite baronet flavored pods for dessert!

Tara from Montague says: 02/22/2010
This is an excellent coffee flavor. It's also very strong, so one pod for an 8 ounce cup is enough for me. I add vanilla creamer to it for added flavor. I will definitely buy this again.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
Awesome way to try them all. It was definately worth the slight price premium. If you're new to betterpods, start here.

Gary from Los Altos says: 02/27/2008
Currently my favorite pod, creates a full-strength 8 oz cup. A caveat: I have a SimpleHuman brewer, and found I have to place the pod flat-side-down (upside down) in the basket, or else its too snug and blocks the coffee flow.

Alice from Thornton says: 03/06/2008
Excellent flavor - when it brews. I can't get these pods to brew nine times out of ten (yes, I tried ten pods!) in my SimpleHuman pod brewer, even when turning them upside down as suggested by another reviewer. They brew just fine in the Senseo that I keep in our guest room, but my usual guests don't care for dark roasts that much. This is a very dark roast coffee, will definitely wake you up in the morning.

from says: 03/17/2007
Awesome! Strong flavor without bitterness.

Royal from Sacramento says: 05/12/2007
Having now compared Cafejo pods to many other varieties, I can say that across the board, Cafejo pods work better in my Senseo. The coffee is consistently bold and of the appropriate density. This coffee (and Breakfast Blend) are the two stand outs so far.

Duane from Wenatchee says: 07/11/2007
I agree with Royal - the Cafejo pods not only work well, they consistently deliver the best tasting and quality coffee.

from says: 08/08/2007
Smooth and dark, with an extra kick. I love it!

Irwin from Spokane says: 10/17/2007
Senseo has nothing this eye opening, a very flavorful and strong brew. A little extra cream helps this intense explosion of coffee flavor and caffine.

Lorraine from Pittsburgh says: 11/05/2007
I got the sampler pod pack and I think that Cafejo is the best out of all of them. Good flavor

Julie from Appleton says: 12/19/2007
I like strong coffee, and usually have to use two pods with my senseo for an 8-oz cup. But this was strong enough for me to only have to use one pod for an 8-oz cup. It had a nice dark flavor with little sweetness.

Alex from Great Falls says: 12/21/2007
WOW, this will get you going, and WILL make you eyes open on the first sip!! The right boost I need in the morning! Strong, smooth and not bitter at all! Great, GREAT coffee if you like dark roast! :O)

Bill from Bethesda says: 12/31/2007
Wakes me RIGHT UP in the morning!

Lisa from Danville says: 01/31/2008
With a half dozen in my cabinet to choose from, this was the one I usually went for. It is strong without being bitter. Gives Starbucks a run for its money!

Charles from Reedsport says: 03/09/2008
The only reason it's listed as "dark" is because they use overstuffed pods (which don't work in my SimpleHuman A40 pod brewer.) Don't buy unless your brewer can handle thick pods.

Greg from Warrenton says: 04/29/2008
Best flavor for the money. Rich taste without being bitter.

Richard from Bethpage says: 06/29/2008
These are my favorite as they have a nice bold taste but like others, getting them to brew right sometimes involves a little voodoo.

Andre from Winnipeg says: 07/30/2008
I agree with Charles. There is more coffee in the pod making it a stronger brew. Taste was great with lots of punch but my Senseo cannot handle the size of the pod. I think I only got 2 good cups out of the whole box.

Kelly from Mission says: 12/02/2008
I agree with Royal. I'm hooked on Cafejo pods for my Senseo. I'm glad Target stopped carrying the Archer Farms brand (JavaOne) pods. Otherwise I wouldn't have ventured out here into the world of pods. Cafejo pods don't pop the lid open like many of the other pods do. This is a full rich cup of jo for sure. This is 2nd favorite after the Cafejo French Roast.

Angelo from Tampa says: 12/17/2008
Excellent cup of coffee. Strong. Full of flavor. No bitterness. For the pasrt 3 years I wasted my money on Senseo pods. Will order again.

Jeremy from Oklahoma City says: 06/06/2009
This is a great, strong cup of coffee.

Rebecca from Sammamish says: 07/12/2009
This is one of my 2 favorites from Better Coffee. I use a Senseo and have not had any problems. Great flavor, nice and dark.

Erik from Lockport says: 03/29/2010
One of the best brews I've ever had. Dark, full, but without being too bitter.

Esther from Ypsilanti says: 05/23/2010
My go-to pod when I need a caffeine injection. Strong, strong coffee without a bitter aftertaste. Mind you, when I say "strong" I am not joking. Do not drink too much of this stuff. I call it "Colon Blow" for a reason.

Royal from Sacramento says: 03/22/2007
Nice morning blend. Mellow, solid flavor. I often have a cup of this after I wake up with an Adrenaline Explosion -- why? Because mixing it up is exactly why I have a single-serving coffee maker.

Eli from Austin says: 06/08/2006
Almost no aroma and light body. Nice carmelly, almost milky flavors with a very short, simple finish. NOTE: This pod choked my SimpleHuman in the brown filter - use the green one instead.

Anthony from Claymont says: 05/02/2008
Nice mild coffee. Taste is very good and works great with my OPOD

Maru from Oceanside says: 04/28/2007
Didn't like this one too much. The caramel tasted "burnt". But be your own judge. It may have been my tastebuds.

Jeff from Tucson says: 06/02/2007
Im not a big caramel fan but this pod brewed a good cup of coffee with light carmel flavor.

Kenneth from Laurel says: 09/04/2007
Disappointed in this one. The name sounds so good. Found it a little bitter (even with some sugar and milk).

from says: 02/10/2009
Excellent any time of day. Black, no sugar is my preference and it is always smooth and tasty.

Rebecca from Sammamish says: 09/08/2009
Great coffee! All the Cafejo varieties I have tried taste smooth and delicious, and work well in my Senseo.

Eli from Austin says: 06/08/2006
Almost vanishingly light body. A little earthy, and very clean. NOTE: On my SimpleHuman, these pods only work with the green filter holder.

Kenneth from Gilmer says: 12/17/2007
Nice medium-mild coffee. My wife particularly likes this coffee (she likes most Costa Rican coffees). It is a nice second cup in the morning or a mid afternoon break.

Jane from Arlington Heights says: 01/13/2009
This is a fantastic coffee. Used to use creamer, but this is so smooth, mild but really flavorful I don't use anything...drink it black now.

from says: 02/27/2007
Excellent sweet taste and delicious aroma. Perfectly creamy even without cream.

amy from aurora says: 03/28/2007
Very good flavor and aroma, especially with a little cream and sugar. I would buy it again.

Esther from Ypsilanti says: 05/23/2010
I was worried that the caramel taste would not be as good in the decaf version, as I'd only had the full-strength pods before. No worry, it tastes wonderful. Good iced, too. Smooth coffee with no bitterness.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/18/2007
It's hard to find a decaf dark roast in pods but luckily this Cafejo is spot on! Rich flavor, not overly dark or bitter. An excellent after meal coffee. I always keep some in the house now.

Scott from Yardley says: 11/22/2007
I second Steven's opinion. This is an excellent decaf pod. Full bodied, flavorful, dark but not over-roasted.

from says: 01/25/2008
Good decaf pod, especially given that it's a dark roast. In my opinion better than Reunion Island's Dark Roast Decaf.

Glenn from Honolulu says: 07/11/2006
Not my favorite.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 04/13/2006
Very surprising. I expected this coffee to be overpowering even for a dark roast fiend like me. It has a wonderful full flavor with a nice finish and no burned or charred taste. I love it!

Eli from Austin says: 06/07/2006
Very nice, sweet, chocolatey overtones. Down side is the slightly charred aftertaste, and the relatively thin body. In the end, even though this one had its merits, I prefer the Gormet Cafe French Roast and Costa Rican for dark roasts. If there was a 3 1/2 stars, that'd be my rating.

Richard from Bethpage says: 03/03/2007
A rich full cup of coffee just the way I like it. I didn't notice any bitterness at all.

Jeff from Tucson says: 06/02/2007
This one had a strong burnt dark roast flavor and was a big step down from the Much prefered the 52nd St Gutatemala Dark.

Richard from Katy says: 09/19/2007
Wonderful expresso that tastes like it was brewed through a copper expresso maker.

from says: 09/29/2007
Good Starbucks style flavor and aroma. One of the better coffee PODS out there. 4 stars. OPOD Brewer

from says: 10/12/2007
By and large I find Cafejo to be delicious coffee. That said, there are a few pods that I'm mixed about. This is one of them. First off, it isn't really espresso and it isn't really coffee. It's an odd hybrid. This makes sense given that no single-serving coffee maker has the requisite number of bars of pressure to make "true" espresso. At first sip, I usually want to spit this stuff out. It's powerful, earthy, and very dark. If you're half asleep, it really wakes you up. Oddly, the foam is the worst part. Once it settles, the coffee gets appreciably better. With further sips, Espresso Gold becomes even more pleasant but you never quite forget that you are drinking one bold cup of joe. It's not a coffee you can just "forget about." By the bottom of the cup, you like it. It still has that earthy quality to it but you begin to enjoy the subtler notes of flavor. That said, I won't be ordering this again because, although it mellows out to something quite drinkable, it is not as immediately satisfying as the Kenya, Sumatra, or Adrenaline dark brews.

from says: 06/12/2009
This is my new found favorite. Since I use the Senseo coffee maker, those pods were my first brand used. Moved to Timothy's Rainforest Espresso as I was looking for something stronger. Using a coffee (pod) brewer, I know that finding a comparable "Starbucks" coffee/espresso is rare. Timothy's was fine but Cafejo's Espresso Gold is my new found favorite! Just the aroma alone upon opening the pod puts you in coffee heaven! I truly believe that the 11g pod also attributes to a bolder flavor; outranking Timothy's. Very smooth tasting, not bitter or acidic. Enjoy!

from says: 03/17/2007
Fabulous aroma followed by a wonderfully strong taste.

Nancy from Akron says: 05/02/2007
Liquid gunpowder! Wonderful aroma and flavor -- I never thought I could get this from a pod. Thanks!

Frank from Henderson says: 07/14/2007
10 oz setting on the Bunn made a very strong cup. I like espresso, but a full size cup of this was too intense for me.

from says: 07/16/2007
Excellent! Much better than just their other Espresso Italiano. Bold, dark, rich and smooth body.

Jon from Ballwin says: 11/07/2007
Very good dark roast, (4.5 stars)nice smokey notes on the finish. This larger pod is the absolute max that will fit in my Senseo (single holder). Most of the time I make a CafeMocha out of my morning cup. This blend holds up nicely to the chocolate (Trader Joe's chocolate syrup - no corn syrup in it!). My coffees are usually sweetened with Stevia, by the way.

Charles from Reedsport says: 03/09/2008
The only reason it's listed as "dark" is because they use overstuffed pods (which don't work in my SimpleHuman A40 pod brewer.) Don't buy unless your brewer can handle thick pods.

Richard from Bethpage says: 06/29/2008
Nice deep flavor. The unnamed reviewer who starts their review "By and large" has said everything that needs to be.

Reiff from Dayton says: 07/06/2008
A number of reviewers have raved 9s(some even complained) about how strong the coffee is from these pods. I was looking for strong, but was disappointed. In my Black & Decker coffee maker I find that one of these pods works OK for a strong 7-ounce cup, but not a 9oz. Two pods does OK filling my 14oz travel mug with medium-strength joe. So far the strongest cup I've found comes from the Timothey's Rainforest Espresso, which also seems to fit better in my brewer.

connie from mooresville says: 03/15/2009
I've tried them all and the French Roast Cafejo is THE best. I didn't realize how good it was until I ran out for a week and had to buy those nasty grocery store pods. When my shipment of french roast cafejo pods came in I popped one in and could really tell the difference. My coffee tasted like coffee again instead of muddy water!

Kelly from Mission says: 12/02/2008
This is a fantastic pod. I have tried many and this one works the best in my Senseo (it doesn't pop the lid) and it is a rich, smooth, dark cup of coffee and I like my French Roast strong.

michelle from Randolph says: 02/01/2007
Probobly the best French I've ever tasted. I'm new to pods, but am catching up quickly. This has smokey tones but absolutely no burned flavor. A full bodied mouth-feel and terrific aroma. This has become my everyday coffee along with Reunion Island Rainforest French roast. Definately 2 must-haves in my house. For the price difference, try the Cafejo, though the other is smoother.

Eric from Greenwood Village says: 03/21/2007
Has become a favorite full-bodied decaf, along with Eldorado and Kona.

Brad from Suffolk says: 08/15/2007
Absolutely fabulous and works in my Senseo.

Richard from Bethpage says: 06/29/2008
Michelle said it best... so I say ditto to her review.

from says: 09/18/2008
I have spent hundreds of dollars and tried various pods and this is the one I keep coming back to. This is the best dark pod I have found. It works well in my Bunn.

Raymond from Maple Grove says: 10/24/2008
Wow - what a great cup this pod brews. I had given up on my Senseo coffee maker when Target stopeed selling the Archer Farms French Roast pods (a great pod no longer made or sold). This pod produces an even richer brew. My Senseo is back online.

Reiff from Dayton says: 01/01/2009
There are apparently a lot of people who really like this pod -- it's got great reviews, and is a best seller. It did not work well for me, though. In my B&D brewer (which does well with larger pods) this pod seemed small, and the water just flowed around it. Doubling up helped, but still not great. I'm going back to Timothy's Rainforest Espresso - the best (and cheapest) pod I've found.

Donald from PIttsburgh says: 05/08/2009
REally first rate dark, rich coffee. Have tried many different pods, and these are among the best -- along with Gourmet Cafe French Roast(#1) Reunion Island Privateer Dark and Reunion Island Fair Trade Organic French Roast. STAY AWAY from Eldorado coffee pods -- weak and undrinkable.

Jeremy from Oklahoma City says: 06/06/2009
A little too strong for me.

Maru from Oceanside says: 04/28/2007
I had been desperately seeking a hazelnut coffee pod that replaced my old drip brand. This was it for me. I love the flavor: smooth and balanced.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 04/13/2006
This is a wonderful coffee for anyone who likes dark roast coffee flavor without a burned tasted. I can use the full 8 ounce setting on my Bunn My Cafe and it tastes great. Most other coffees I have to use 6 or 7 ounce settings. I recommend this coffee pod highly.

Eli from Austin says: 06/14/2006
Excellent - by far the best of the Cafejo's I have tried. Full bodied, even at 8 ounces. Spicy, with a little black-licorice tinge and a long finish.

michelle from Randolph says: 01/21/2007
Smooth, dark. Not as full as I'd liked but a superior cup of coffee. I had to wet it and press in for my Senseo.

Duane from Wenatchee says: 02/21/2007
I include this in my favorites - right behind the Cafejo Sumatra; and along side their French Roast.

Ivan from Ambler says: 09/12/2007
Had several other Cafejo pods and this is first one special. Melitta machine, 8oz., w/ x-tra Coffee Mate.

Royal from Sacramento says: 10/12/2007
These days I pretty much exclusively drink Cafejo. Partly because there coffee is delicious and partly because I don't mind stacking their boxes on my counter. This is one of those coffees I ordered to try and discovered that I really loved. It's dark, a bit harsher than Adrenaline but still robust and very pleasing, and is a cup of coffee you can really taste. If you like this, you should also try Cafejo Sumatra.

MARTIN from POTOMAC says: 03/11/2007
Brewed with a Bunn My Cafe using the 6 ounce setting, black with sugar. This smooth-tasting, mild and enjoyable blend has a hint of bitterness associated with Kona coffee, without being harsh. It is better tasting than Aloha Island blends, yet costs much less.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 05/29/2006
Excellent dark roast choice. This is one of my many Betterpods favorites. Rich, full-flavor without that annoying burned tasted of some dark roasts.

Duane from Wenatchee says: 02/21/2007
This has become my coffee of choice. I've tried several and continue to purchase a variety, but this is dark, rich and full of flavor. No tangy bitterness.

richard from los alamos says: 07/28/2007
This pod makes a great dark roast coffee. Single cup setting is a bit strong for my taste and double is a bit weak. Simple solution - I just stop the double cup a little before it's done. Wallah- excellent cup of joe that satisfies! Would highly recommend for the dark roast lover.

from says: 10/05/2007
This has become my favorite. It is full bodied, smooth, dark, lingering (pleasant) finish. Right up there with Aloha Island Gold without the cost.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 02/01/2008
Good flavor, smooth, but a bit weak for an 8 oz Senseo cup with added cream.

Michelle from Parma says: 06/02/2009
My favorite of the Sumatras - I like to use this one for my own Cafe Mochas.

Adam from Moorpark says: 03/23/2010
This coffee is exactly what I was looking for in a dark roast. SO good!

from says: 10/01/2007
A bit too intense for me especially for a blend. Usually I find blends more smooth and less bitter. An 'OK' cup of jo, but won't be ordering any more Signature blend. Hope to try the Breakfast blend soon.

michelle from Randolph says: 02/01/2007
I was so excited to see a Vienna roast! But having had coffee in Vienna, I was disapointed. The first taste had a burned, too-long-on-the-pot taste, not just "smokey". After 4 trys, I'm giving this up to the "when I run out of coffee I'll use this" stash. Also, doesn't quite live up to the smooth-bodied and fragrant reputation of this hard to find roast. The aroma was there, but the body and taste were not up to my standards of Vienna Roast.

michelle from Randolph says: 05/17/2007
Maybe I got a bad batch? I tried a second box & I really do like it. A nice & subtle change from the intense French roasts I usually get; Cafejo & Reunion Island FR. This batch had no hint of burnt taste. Very subtle fragrance with a smooth finish. Terrific for times when you don't want a body jolt, just a good cup of strong coffee.

Richard from Bethpage says: 06/29/2008
These are in no way a dark roast. I would put them between light and medium at best.

Erik from Lockport says: 03/29/2010
Almost a medium roast next to one of the darker dark ones, but it has a real nice spice flavor that kicks in. One of my regulars.

from says: 01/23/2007
Best Colombian coffee I've ever had

John from East Boston says: 03/06/2007
These pods work very poorly with the Senseo. Even when wetting them down and packing them just so into the 2 pod holder, it's hit and miss. I'm sticking to just 60mm flat top brands.

Paul from Houston says: 03/13/2007
One of the best cups of coffee, certainly the best Columbian I have ever had from a pod. Brewed with an OPOD on the tea setting. Very rich, smooth and full-bodied.

from says: 03/21/2007
Delicious coffee, but I'll agree with John from East Boston that these pods don't work very well with Senseos. They're a bit too thick for the single pod holder and a bit too thin for the double pod holder.

Brian from Boca Raton says: 11/27/2007
Best Columbian Pod I ever tasted. Very smooth. Works great with Bunn MyCafe

Charles from Owasso says: 04/29/2008
Again, this one wasn't very good on the Senseo. I had the same experience as others with the pod size. Good coffee but not my favorite. It is smooth and full bodied but too much caramel flavors for my taste. Some earthy tones. Not a smoky tasting coffee.

Tony from Ft Lauderdale says: 02/16/2009
I found this Colombian a little thin and not as aromatic as I had hoped. Disappointing.

Shyang-Min from Flushing says: 11/28/2009
This Pod is terrible. It's a bit sour and doesn't taste right. won't touch again.

from says: 07/28/2008
This is good coffee, if you can get it to work correctly in your Senseo. It usually comes out very, very watery the first run through. Then you let the water seep into the pod, and you might get a good cup the second brew through. But usually not. It's too temperamental for me in the morning!!

from says: 08/19/2006
This was a really good coffee. The best I have tasted yet for my Senseo. Rich and full, not bitter.

from says: 01/23/2007
Only decaf that doesn't taste like decaf..... Great Stuff

Eric from Greenwood Village says: 02/08/2007
The richest decaf pod I've tasted so far. If you are looking for a dark roast decaf, you might start here.

maria from Redondo Beach says: 02/23/2007
I've been trying different decaf coffees, hoping to find one that doesn't tast like decaf. This is it! This coffee is rich, full and taste like the real thing. Buy with confidence.

from says: 08/27/2007
My first decaf pod. Very good flavor. Very smooth. Not at all bitter. Works well with my Senseo.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/14/2007
Best decaf I have had yet. Works well in my Senseo. I am ordering more!!

Paul from Houston says: 11/30/2008
Best decaf pod on the market.

from says: 11/01/2009
Some of the pods worked, most didn't and I ended up with water all over the floor. Very frustrating experience, will not order again.

Rieko from Sunnyvale says: 02/28/2007
This is my favorite flavored decaf. With a bit of sugar and creamer, it makes a wonderful dessert coffee.

from says: 07/28/2008
Doesn't work well in a Senseo at all-- the pod is too big for the small filter and too small for the big filter. So, you can either break your machine to get dark brew, or you can get colored water instead of coffee.

michelle from Randolph says: 07/09/2007
Thanks for the sample of New Orleans French Quarter in my last order! This is one great cup o'joe! Definately much too strong for the single cup in my senseo it brews a strong cup at the 2 cup setting. The taste is smooth, bold, rich. Just the right amount of chicory to give it true New Orleans taste without feeling like you're drinking something other than coffee. Seems pricey but not when you consider it brews a full mug full of taste. Start making those begnets and crank up the jazz!

richard from los alamos says: 07/28/2007
Superb enough coffee to get me to actually make a review... my first one! Item states 10g pods, but my digital scale records it at 13-14 grams. This is the first pod I've received that's forced me to pull out the double pod holder for my senseo. It just won't fit in a single cup holder. It's worth it though! I agree that this would be way too strong for a single cup mode. With the pod wetted a bit in the double cup holder, then run through the 2 cup setting, I was rewarded with a nice tasty dark brew. Most of the other pods that run through a 2 cup setting come out a little astringent and harsh. This pod is different though, producing a smooth brew with enough flavor to keep me smiling.

Marc from New York says: 10/10/2007
After going through many pods, this is my new favorite becoming my hard and fast standard. Even better than Cafe Gourmet Costa Rican (my other favorite). Bold, strong flavor from these very large pods. Great for making a full, strong cup of coffee. Definitely a winner.

from says: 10/23/2007
Not a bad coffee, but not nearly enough chicory to make it distinct or special.

Tony from Ft Lauderdale says: 02/16/2009
I really enjoyed this coffee, but was a little surprised that it was supposed to be dark. I found it mellow and mild.

Donald from PIttsburgh says: 05/08/2009
Just pathetically bad. Very thin and weak. Even two pods and only a 7 oz cup yields a terrible, weak cup of coffee. DO NOT buy this expecting anything other than a see through weak cup of something approximating coffee. If you like dark rich coffee, try Gourmet Cafe or Cafejo French Roast or Reunion Island Privateer Dark.

from says: 05/31/2010
Another reviewer said this was thin and watery. . I can only surmise something went very wrong. In fact, in my Senseo, being careful to get the pod very wet before inserting it into the machine, it comes out dark and syrupy, and very wonderful! Add soy milk, and it's perfect!

Sandra from New York says: 01/23/2007
Best pod I've ever tasted.....

from says: 05/25/2008
I bought these thinking that the generous size (10g) and French Roast designation would provide a nice, rich, dark, cup of coffee. I was very disappointed. Even using 2 pods at a time still produced just light brown water with little taste and no caffeine. I threw away 3/4 of the box. RL, Dayton, OH PS The best strong coffee I've found is Timothy's Rainforest Espresso.

Donald from PIttsburgh says: 05/08/2009
Terribly weak and flavorless. AVOID at all costs. Great french roasts available from Gourmet Cafe and Cafejo -- try those instead.

from says: 10/24/2009
Please ignore that last review that began with "I've lost track of how many coffee pods I've tried. . . ." I was intending to review the French Quarter Blend.

Eric from Metamora says: 01/18/2008
I don't even think this coffee was worthy of a star rating at all. This coffee has no French Vanilla flavor at all. If I didn't know better I would have thought that this was a regular cup of coffee. My last swig of this coffee was very disappointing, it tasted like it had been sitting around all day and I got the bottom of the barrel. I found this to be a very light coffee with no bitter taste until the end even with half and half, with some sugar.

Rieko from Sunnyvale says: 08/04/2006
Flavorful medium roast with lots of good mouthfeel. Have added it to our workplace's standard pod inventory.

from says: 03/21/2007
Rich and really yummy, one of my favorites!

Kathleen from North Beach says: 08/14/2007
My absolute favorite!

Aaron from Rochester says: 09/06/2007
Definitely our workplace favorite. We're a design company that survives on coffee, and this is definitely the top of the list whenever we order.

from says: 10/29/2007
A good cup of coffee, smooth, not bitter at all, but lacked flavor and full body.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 11/27/2007
WOW!! Great coffee!!'nuff said!!

from says: 01/04/2008
Very average, boring taste. If you want an interesting, spicy Moka Java, try Black Mountain Gold.

Neil from Somerville says: 12/31/2008
Sorry, but I did not find anything distinctive about this coffee

Tony from Ft Lauderdale says: 02/16/2009
Usually, I like Mocha Java coffees, but this one tasted stale and flat to me.

Irwin from Spokane says: 09/27/2007
This is one great cup o' Joe! A new coffee taste to my taste buds. Tasted like a hint of fresh nuts brewed in masterfully. Not bitter at all and not overly strong. I was utterly amazed at this marvelous cup of java! ( I rarely give out 5 stars) :-))

from says: 04/14/2008
Eldorado makes some great pods. This isn't their best though. Only compared to some other brands, I'd give this 5 stars. But their French Quarter and Columbian have a little better flavor. I don't quite get the nutty flavor, but do get a real smooth brew that is great in the morning!

from says: 02/10/2010
Both smooth and strong, able to stand up to a (soy) latte, with a nice aroma when the pouch is opened.

from says: 04/28/2007
I like this one a lot. If you are on a diet and want a substitute for a dark chocolate with almonds candy bar...this is your ticket. It will satisfy the craving because it tastes just like one!

Paul from Houston says: 12/16/2007
I love so many of the other Eldorado pods, the Columbian being my favorite, I thought this would be a safe bet as well, but it turned out to be one of the worst pods I can recall buying.

Christi from Amarillo says: 04/23/2009
This pod has just enough almond flavor to satisfy. I found myself saving the very last pod for a rainy day until I had enough time to get online and order more!

Marvin from Short Hills says: 01/28/2007
Excellent taste to this coffee

from says: 09/30/2007
Sumatra is my favorite coffee. I find Eldorado's Sumatra one of the best my taste buds have ever enjoyed. It is full bodied, rich, earthy, flavorfull and has tones.

Mark from Denver says: 03/17/2008
I don't know what it is, you open the seal and the smell is like they just roasted it. It's one of my favorites as well. Rich, creamy and - I got to go make one now!

Tony from Ft Lauderdale says: 02/16/2009
Nice coffee. Very mild and mellow. No bitter aftertaste.

Allison from Portland says: 11/07/2009
I LOVE this blend. My new favorite. I usually like hazelnut coffee (Gourmet Cafe blend is fabulous), but this has the most perfectly balanced taste I think I've ever found.

Richard from Milford says: 01/16/2008
Very smooth. I've become a fan of the Fratellos and this is one of the best.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 11/24/2007
Very good coffee. I also drink dark roasts as my daily coffee but that may change. Very smooth, rich coffee flavor, and no bite.

Paul from Houston says: 12/06/2007
An unremarkable cup of coffee. So boring and tasteless it almost doesn't taste like coffee. Calling this mellow is an understatement.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 12/19/2007
This is a wonderful medium roast. I like very few mediums and this is by far my favorite. I will definitely order this one next time. It has a full but balanced flavor. Absolutely no char or burned taste. Kinda nutty, kinda sweet - very delicious. I have liked or loved all of the Fratello medium roasts and I am a dark roast fan mostly. Try it if you want an all-round perfect cup anytime of the day.

Steve from Duvall says: 02/02/2008
I felt this was closer to a medium bodied than a light, but it definitely is a mellow tasty cup. Very mildly nutty with little nose, no bitterness. Not much “wake me up” but a good Saturday morning lazing around coffee. On my 1 to 10 scale with 5 being average I gave this a 6, good but in comparison to some of the others available here it didn’t overly shine. Still, a good cup of coffee, above average.

Suzy from Mesa says: 11/10/2008
This is my current favorite pod, because it manages to be incredibly flavorful, complex, and rich while still remaining smooth as silk.

from says: 12/11/2007
Coconut flavor tastes fake and does not go particularly well with coffee (and I love coconut).

Steve from Duvall says: 02/02/2008
First impression was “Wow what a nose”. The coconut smell is great. At first, I wasn’t crazy about the taste as it did have a little fakey feel, but I added a teaspoon full of raw sugar and it made it pretty good. As a sweet drink it was pretty tasty. Not something I would drink every day, but if you like sweet flavored coffees this could be your thing. I rated it above average to good. On my 1 to 10 scale I gave it a 7.5

John from Sadler says: 12/03/2007
I love chocolate and orange together. I love chocolate and coffee together. I even like coffee and orange peel together from time to time. But all three at once? Too much of a good thing. Didn't work for me at all.

Alex from Great Falls says: 12/21/2007
It taste weird! Like John, I like chocolate and oranges together, but coffee, chocolate and orange is a bit too much. If ou like mochas, go for it, it taste chocolaty, but can taste the orange in it that much! Only try if you like Mochas! :O)

Kathleen from North Beach says: 01/21/2008
I love chocolate, orange and coffee all together. It reminds me of a Valencia mocha, but you can keep the calories to a minimum by using artificial sweetener and low fat milk. This one is a hit! Yum!

Stephanie from Parma says: 03/09/2008
I really enjoyed this coffee. Its great with desert or when you want desert with out the fat and calories. The flavor is is a nice blend of chocolate and coffee with a touch of orange. I can understand how some may not favor the combination together, but I really suggest giving it a try.

Bill from Madisonville says: 12/27/2008
Well we all must have different taste bud setups because I didn't find the flavor of the chocolate or the orange strong enough to be able to dominate the taste. It's very subtle. I kind of wish those two flavors were stronger but I'd still buy a box of these again.

from says: 01/08/2009
The title sounded good, I am a fan of dark chocolate and orange together, however... I really hate hazelnut in anything. When brewed, this has a strong overbearing taste of hazelnut. Coffee quality is excellent as always, but had to rate the two stars due to the hazelnut overtaste.

Julie from Appleton says: 12/12/2007
I'm not a huge flavored coffee fan, but I really liked this flavor. The raspberry and chocolate flavors were fairly strong, but didn't taste artificial. I like my coffee on the stronger side, and overall 1 pod is a bit weak for an 8 oz cup. But using 2 pods per 8 oz is yummy! I'd buy it again.

Peter from Grand Forks says: 11/19/2007
Dixie Voodoo....love the name. This one is dark roasted (I'm a medium guy)and it's too dark for me. Full bodied, with a sharp dark roasted flavor. Plenty strong enough to hold up to milk or cream.

Erik from Lockport says: 04/11/2010
Skunky smelling, and chemical tasting. Blech.

Kenneth from Gilmer says: 12/17/2007
Great dark cup. Akin to starbucks coffee (which I love). Haven't tried the decaf. I will keep this one around all the time.

from says: 01/04/2008
Dark, strong, interesting taste. My new favorite!

Steve from Duvall says: 02/02/2008
I wasn’t a big fan of this flavor. Granted, I’m more of a medium / light kind of guy, but beyond that it had kind of a bitter woody flavor. I tried it with a rich dessert, but that just made it feel more bitter. Some may like this in a coffee, but it’s not really my thing. I imagine you could temper this with sugar, but it would take quite a bit. On my 1 to 10 scale I gave this a 3.5. There are better choices in the Fratello line.

michelle from Randolph says: 02/04/2008
Wow! This is one great cup of coffee. Roasted in the Seattle style but without the force of some Starbuck brews. Plenty of aroma, mouth feel and kick when brewed on the 8oz setting with milk. It also is a compact pod which fits in my Senseo without having to wet it and press it down. At a great price too since my old faves have gone up in price.

Michael from Laughlin says: 06/08/2008
Excellent ... actually it's amazing for a pod coffee. Full flavor and body, dark roasted with no burned edges like Starbucks. A remarkable blend!

Richard from Bethpage says: 07/06/2008
Excellent bold cup with nary a hint of bitterness. This one is on my favorite list.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 11/24/2007
A pretty good after dinner coffee, which is when I usually drink decafe. Nice flavors, a fairly bold dark roast, with good richness and only a tinge of bite at the end. Worked well in my Senseo single holder, brewed at 8oz.

from says: 12/11/2007
A really good decaf!

Eric from Greenwood Village says: 04/05/2008
One of the richest tasting decaf pods I've had so far. As advertised, this one is darker and more flavorful than the Fratello Sumatra decaf.

Scott from Yardley says: 11/22/2007
I found this pod to be over-roasted, and I prefer dark roasts. With longer roasting the coffee loses it's true flavors, and I think this is what happened to this one.

richard from los alamos says: 11/14/2007
Great pod, but not perfect... Weight is as advertised according to my digital gram scale: 9.5grams. Fit fine in the single cup holder for my Senseo. I hit the 2 cup button since I'm not a fan of super-strong coffee and found the aroma to be delightful. Took a small sip of the gunsmoke black and noticed a very full-bodied flavor with noticeable smoke. The smoke I pick up isn't "woody", but more like the smoke you pick up when walking by a coffee roaster in process. I like my coffee with a shot of cream and just a bit of sugar. After doctoring it up, I was really impressed. Good complexity, with an upfront bite that gets your attention. Finish is smooth. I would give this a 4.5 star if possible, because of its uniqueness. I could see myself getting tired of the smoke/heaviness. I will likely rotate this blend with other "tamer" pods out there. I'll buy it again.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 11/24/2007
Holy gunsmoke! A very dark roast with a pronounced smoky aftertaste. Not a nice smoky flavor, more like a charred aftertaste.

from says: 12/03/2007
Yippie-ki-yay! Smokey and smooth, this dark roast begs to be consumed plain black for an intense and unusual cup of coffee

Kathleen from Littleton says: 01/26/2008
A very enjoyable cup of coffee!

Steve from Duvall says: 02/02/2008
Dark complex, very slightly bitter. Smokey flavor is a nice touch and adds that extra little bit that pushes it up from an average dark. Very smooth balanced blend, good both dark and sweetened. Best dark of the batch. I give it a 7.0 out of 10.

Paul from Shreveport says: 01/08/2009
A good dark coffee, not for the timid. There is a pronounced smoke flavor to this coffee. Very good when combined with Dark Guatamalan.

from says: 12/11/2007
I don't really care for flavored coffee, but this one was sophisticated and quite good. Easily the best flavored coffee I've had.

Steve from Duvall says: 02/02/2008
I really didn’t care for this cup. The flavor had almost a chemical tang to it, and it just didn’t taste like gingerbread. It was like they were trying to hit gingerbread flavor and just missed. I’ve said before I’m not much of a flavored guy, but even if I were this would have gotten a low rating just because the flavor was so strange and off somehow. Compared to the other Fratello flavors, this one doesn’t even rate. I tried it black, with sugar, with cream and nothing helped. I think this got the lowest score in the sample pack with a 1.5 out of 10.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 11/15/2007
Loved it! I don't ususlly drink flavored coffee but I tried this with a little sweetener and some half and half and was very impressed with it. It is a unique flavor and not too strong in hazelnut or I would not have liked it. Try it if you like flavors. You will not be disappointed.

from says: 11/18/2007
Thank you Better Pods for the great value and fantastic cup of coffee! I love Highlander Grogg for my regular coffee maker, and was very excited to see you offered it for the single serve maker I have at work. I ordered on a Holiday via the internet, and was amazed at the quick "free" delivery. Two days and it was in my cup! I am still waiting for another shipment placed at the same time from another vendor. You will be my only source from now on. Too bad I didn't find you sooner. I have wasted a lot of time and money on other sites. Thanks again for the great value and service. I will enjoy...one cup at a time!

from says: 12/11/2007
A decent flavored coffee that tastes a little better but quite similar to any other hazelnut or irish cream flavor.

Julie from Appleton says: 12/19/2007
Had a very mild 'highlander grogg' flavor, which I liked since I mostly prefer non-flavored coffee.

Steve from Duvall says: 02/02/2008
I’m not usually much of a flavor guy. I got this in the sample pack so I didn’t have the description, and frankly I had no idea what to expect with Highlander Grogg. My take? Surprisingly good. This would be a great coffee for sitting out on the deck and relaxing on a fall afternoon, or cozying around the fire during a storm. The flavors are not strong or overbearing, and yet they add a little comforting touch. Delicious. On my 1 to 10 scale 5 being average I give this an easy 8 bordering on 8.5.

from says: 03/09/2008
Great aroma excellent flavor. A surprise hit with us and all our friends who have tried it.

from says: 07/26/2009
This is a nice cup. I had been looking for a replacement for a discontinued favorite - the Fratello Mexican Pluma and this had been recommended as similar ... and it is.

Michelle from Parma says: 10/23/2009
A very smooth medium coffee. Don't let the description put you off - it has a sweetness, but without any silly flavors. I really enjoyed this one...

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 11/20/2007
Fratello medium roast pods are winning me over. I am a dark roast drinker but I have tried a number of medium Fratellos and they are wonderful. I will absolutely buy this pod in the future. It has a lot of wonderful coffee flavor, is rich, is not charred or smokey...it is just fabulous.

Steve from Duvall says: 02/02/2008
Good blend. This pod was a smooth medium, very drinkable cup. This will likely become one of my regular pods. On my 1 to 10 scale I rated this an 8. Medium strength nose, drinkable both sweetened and black.

Scott from Yardley says: 11/22/2007
I brewed this pod at 6 oz in my Cuisinart SS-1. I feel it has an excellent flavor, is full bodied, and not over-roasted at all.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 11/24/2007
This seemed to have a strong flavor that reminded me very much of Turkish coffee I've had at my Serbian neighbors. Too acidic for me.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 11/16/2007
Working my way through the Fratello sampler and having a great time. This medium roast pod is very interesting. The flavor is more like a dark roast but I cannot identify why. I like it a lot and I think I would have to describe it as beefy or robust. I like that it is organic and I may just buy this with my next order.

Steve from Duvall says: 02/02/2008
This is good coffee. I'm not usually one to be swayed by the organic label, though I know that fair trade and organic are important features for many. I try to rate solely on taste to provide a more objective review based on flavor not politics. If Organic is your thing, add another half star as a bonus. This coffee has a slightly nutty flair and is not bitter at all. If you like a smooth not harsh coffee, this will suit you well. It is my favorite of all the Fratello line. I rate on a 1 to 10 scale with 5 being an average coffee and 10 being nearly unattainable. I gave this a 9.0. Delicious.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Just ok, harsh start, nothing to write home about, won't be buying again.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 11/17/2007
Got my sampler box this week and this is first pod I've tried. Very pleasantly suprised. Smooth, pleasant taste, not bitter. Taste's slightly darker than most medium roasts which I like since my day to day coffee is the Black Mountain Gold Moka Java. I may very well buy a box of this with my next order.

Richard from Milford says: 06/15/2008
This Fratello Mexican Pluma is the best Mexican pod I have had to date. It is much smoother than the other Fratello Mexican coffee.

richard from los alamos says: 11/13/2007
Not a bad pod, but not a great one either. I would call this a dark roast blend, but not too dark. First, pod weight is dead on, according to my digital gram scale: 9.5 grams. I then dropped pod into single cut senseo holder and it fit just fine. It's nice not to have to pull out the double. I then hit the single cup and had a sip. VERY strong, with hints of espresso and a slightly burnt background. I then hit the single cup button again and found the flavor to be much better. Not weak at all, and pretty darn smooth. However, I like my coffee with a shot of cream and a tiny amount of sugar. After doctoring it up a bit, I had dejavu: I've tasted this before it seemed. Thinking back, I realize this tastes just like a little mexican diner down the road where I get breakfast with coffee. It has that diner coffee tast to it: smooth but nondescript. I'll enjoy the box, but there are better pods out there.

Charles from Owasso says: 05/02/2008
This is my second favorite pod so far. Good, strong, bold, and a bit smoky. Full bodied but nice and smooth. I'll be going back for this one a lot! Highly recommended!

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 11/15/2007
I hate to say it but this was a little boring to me. To be fair, I like dark roasts and some medium roasts but this one just lacks something for my taste. It isn't bad; it just isn't great!

Brenda from Fairburn says: 12/15/2007
I enjoyed this one!! I got the Fratello sampler, and this is a good one for me. I like medium roast, and this is a good med roast coffee! Has a wonderful aroma!!

Kenneth from Gilmer says: 12/17/2007
Much like Dixie Voodo, but not quite as dark. Has a slight bitter bite to it, but in a good way.

Kathleen from Littleton says: 01/26/2008
Finally a dark roast that satisfies! A great cup of coffee.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 11/24/2007
Thia is a very dark blend with quite a bit of bite. If you like bold and aggressive, this is your coffee. Pod fits in a single Senseo holder fine.

Paul from Houston says: 12/06/2007
I enjoy a good dark roast, but this is just harsh and bitter.

Richard from Bethpage says: 07/06/2008
This fell way short as far as a dark blend goes.

from says: 11/13/2008
I really enjoy this coffee and it works perfectly in my Senseo.

from says: 06/05/2009
Too strong for me.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 11/17/2007
I'n not a big fan of flavored coffees but this was in the sampler, and actually it was pretty good. Had it as an afternoon cup and it was like having my sniker doodle with my coffee! Taste was true to life, only a slight bitterness (which I seem to find in all flavored coffees).

Charles from Owasso says: 05/07/2008
OK, here's review number 2 from someone who's not a big fan of flavored coffee. I did like this. Not my favorite, but tasted good. Medium roast with mild flavors. I will try this one again.

Rieko from Sunnyvale says: 03/22/2008
Our favorite decaf. So rich & flavorful that you don't realize you're drinking a decaf. It's a must have in our coffee pantry.

Steven from Minnetonka says: 10/23/2009
Love how the rich flavor wakes up your tongue. One of my favorite decafs.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 11/15/2007
I tried this dark roast pod but found it to have an odd flavor. I did finish the cup but would not buy it ongoing. There are so many great dark roast pods available for my taste on this fabulous site so it is not a problem.

from says: 12/22/2008
After trying all the organic coffee pods Bettercoffee has to offer we decided that this is our favorite! And it's now the only coffee we order...

Mary from Durham says: 08/09/2007
Just okay, not as good as Timothy's BB. It is definitely on the weak side.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/12/2006
Not bad, average flavor with a hint of bitterness.

Walt And Hedy from Valparaiso says: 05/17/2006
Not bad, but a little too weak for me. I prefer a bolder taste.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
It's ok. Kinda bland and a little week.

from says: 06/22/2008
I found this lighter-roast coffee to be very rich, with a slight nutty taste. It's become a favorite.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/12/2006
Didn't care for this one. Had a strange chemical kind of after taste. No body or rich flavor.

Maxine from Dallas says: 04/20/2006
More complex than other Columbians, with a good depth of flavors. A great way to start the day!

Walt And Hedy from Valparaiso says: 05/17/2006
The Colombia Supremo has a fuller body taste, but it l found that it looses the taste as the coffee cools. A good full body tast

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
I like it a lot. It's pretty strong and rich. Good complexity. Nice smooth finish. I can drink it fast even when it's black. Walt and Hedy are right about the taste wehn it cools.

Charles from Reedsport says: 03/17/2007
The coffee was one of the best dark roasts I've had. However, in my HomeCafe brewer, the pods would usually split apart. I'd give 5 stars for flavor, but 3 for pod quality. So I compromised and decided on 4 stars.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/21/2007
Very nice coffee with smooth bold taste.

Irwin from Spokane says: 11/02/2007
This pod was in the Medium/Light Sampler pack and I found it very good. Smooth with a nice finish. More full bodied and complex than most olumbian's. Medium strong and somewhat rich. I recently placed an order from C. Whiz to buy a brand not carried here, was I ever dissapointed in the service. No discount or free shipping as advertised and customer service won't return my emails..

joseph from santa ana says: 05/08/2008
Wow, what a difference from the Senseo brand pods! Not only did the pod smell much fresher upon opening the package, but I really enjoyed the brewed result. These pods are thicker than the Senseo pods however, and I almost felt like I was going to break my machine trying to engage the clamp. I'll be adding these to my favorites list!

James from Champaign says: 03/17/2006
Very nice Decaf Columbian. One of my favorites. No noticeable taste difference between the Caffeinated/Decaf variety.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 04/13/2006
Excellent flavor in this selection. Best I have tried so far. Buy this decaf with confidence.

Paul from Fairport says: 04/14/2007
This is a great decaf - rich taste, no "de-caffish" flavor. I was quite skeptical of pod taste vs. full brewed pot taste. If you are too, try this one, it has hooked me on the pod lifestyle.

from says: 10/05/2007
After reading the positive reviews I was hoping I'd like this one, but it's not for me. I felt that it was weak, lacked flavor and on the bitter side. Hopefully, my next Decaf pod experience will be much better.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/30/2007
Excellent decaf pod!! Like this one as much as the caffeinated pod!! On my list of favs now!!

james from west sacramento says: 01/21/2007
This is, quite simply stated, the absolute best coffee pod on the market!!!

Julie from Appleton says: 12/19/2007
Really tasty! It's a darker roast, but to me it tasted sweeter than something as dark as a French Roast. I used it in my Senseo with no problems. (As a side note, I have an older machine. I was able to use a pod in the single pod holder with no issues. I also bought 2 flavors from Fratello, and 1 from Cafejo, and each of these I can also use in the single pod holder with no problems. My mom just got a new Senseo, and none of these pods fit in that machine, they all have to get put into the double pod holder.)

Michael from Gilbert says: 06/09/2009
It's good, but definetely not the best ever like some have said. Honestly its a little light for my personal preference. They say all bettercoffee pods brew 8oz, however each one I've tried using my senseo machine and brewing 8oz end up being very light. Maybe when I switch back to senseo's sumatra blend I'll appreciate these pods more. Right now I'm not overly eager to order again.

David from Fairport says: 03/12/2006
This is by far our most acclaimed flavor and a personal favorite of BetterPods staffers :-)

Maxine from Dallas says: 03/20/2006
Full flavored with just a hint of an espresso roast but without the charred taste. A strong but smooth cup. One of my personal favorites. Maxine Aaronson

Brandy from Anchorage says: 03/20/2006
I don't usually like dark roast coffee, but this one is AWESOME! Very smooth, and great coffee flavor. I must have in your pod stash!

Mark from Ajax says: 03/21/2006
Very smooth coffee. One of my favourites - always tough to decide between the Kona, Sumatra and Costa Rican...

Glenn from Honolulu says: 04/06/2006
Excellent rich full flavor without any bitterness, one of my favorites.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/12/2006
Good rich flavor but had a slight bitter after taste. Try the French Roast, it is awesome.

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 04/13/2006
I love this pod but I have to use less water than with some others = but it is worth it because it tastes better than brewed coffee.

from says: 05/03/2006
What I really want is this flavor in a flat-top pod shape. The symmetric pod shape is far more likely to result in the ever-popular Senseo Explosion. Flat top pods always work perfectly in my Senseo. We LOVE this blend. Please make available in a more senseo-friendly shape!

Walt And Hedy from Valparaiso says: 05/17/2006
The high rating the other raters have provided is deserved. It is a great cup of coffee. Full bodied, flavorful, and a great aftertaste. It does not have the burnt taste of many dark roasts. This one is a Winner!

Michael from Levittown says: 05/19/2006
I have a lot of luck with these in both my home Senseo and work HomeCafe - I just wet each pod prior to charging and pack it down into the pod holder. I use 1 pod per 8-9 oz. cup. Far and away the best-tasting pods I've ever used.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
Pretty good medium blend. Very consistently tasty. It's like the coffee at my favorite breakfast place.

Eli from Austin says: 06/21/2006
This is an exceptionally easy to drink coffee; very rich, full bodied, first taste is a touch earthy, with lots of refined, chocolate tones on the long finish.

Julie from Westminster says: 01/21/2007
Ranks as one fo my top favorties.

from says: 01/26/2007
Excellent, well-rounded cup of coffee.

Nick from Cockeysville says: 01/26/2007
Very nice and mellow coffee. I use with my Black and Decker pod machine. Wouldn't recommend using more than 7 ounces of water per pod or else the coffee tastes too watered now.

Richard from Bethpage says: 03/03/2007
Not normally a favorite blend but this is one of my faves now! Nice full body with a slight woody finish.

Anthony from Orange Park says: 03/04/2007
Five stars in my book. The high praise the other raters have provided is well deserved. It is a great cup of coffee. Full bodied, flavorful, and a great aftertaste. It does not have the burnt taste of many other dark roasts. This one is a true Winner!

Greg from Warrenton says: 03/08/2007
More flavor than Columbia but still smooth, no bitterness. I like it anytime of the day. It works very well in my Senseo.

Jeff from Tucson says: 06/02/2007
brewed a decent cup but was not anything special

joseph from kansas city says: 07/03/2007
The Estate Costa Rican is a good coffee but nothing spectacular. With that said, I still would probably buy it again.

Greg from Monrovia says: 09/07/2007
I like this enough to order it again. It seems just a little better than BMG Costa Rican

Irwin from Spokane says: 10/22/2007
4.5 Stars round off to 5. Was pleasantly surprised by this full bodied coffee with a very smooth texture with a long mellow finish. Only thing that tops it is Timothy's Rain Forest expresso.

John from Sadler says: 11/04/2007
When I opened the packet , I immediately noticed that this pods smells like freshly roasted coffee. As it brewed, the aroma filled my kitchen, and brewed in my B40, I noticed the shimmer of the essential oils of the beans floating on the top like a cup out of the French Press. With most dark roasted coffees, I prefer some dairy and sweetener- but messing with this coffee would be like putting a bath robe on Venus de Milo. This is easily one of the best packed coffees I have ever tasted.

Reiff from Dayton says: 12/23/2008
There are not many pods on the market that have this bold flavor. This gets 5 stars for quality. The only other pod I've found that is this good and strong is Timothy's Rainforest Espresso (which is 40% less expensive.)

Corey from Prescott says: 10/02/2007
I have enjoyed Earl Grey tea for several years now. It's great to get a perfect cup every time.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/12/2006
Fantastic rich flavor, very smooth with no bitterness what so ever. My favorite

Walt And Hedy from Valparaiso says: 05/17/2006
Rich full flavor, but with a taste of burnt beans behind the flavor. For someone who enjoys the french roast this is a great selection

Eli from Austin says: 06/13/2006
Earthy rich first taste, with a smokey, short finish that I found a little bitter. Full bodied, solid, but without the depth of flavor of the GC Costa Rica.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
This was my favorite until I found the Black Moutain Moka Java. It's strong and smooth at the same time. Not acidic and has more complexity than just about anything I've tried from a pod. My wife says it tastes a bit burned, but she likes mild brews.

Glenn from Honolulu says: 07/11/2006
At first thought this coffee was a bit strong for my taste but now one of my favorites.

Donald from PIttsburgh says: 05/08/2009
Best French Roast I have tried.(Out of 5) Very rich and flavorful without being bitter.

Walt And Hedy from Valparaiso says: 05/17/2006
Not bad, but there needs to be a little more to the vanilla taste. I prefer the Hazelnut. I think would be better if there were a little carmel flavor to supplement the vanilla.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
Meh, it's better than others, but nothing spectacular. Description is fairly accurate

Walt And Hedy from Valparaiso says: 05/17/2006
This was very satisfying. The Hazelnut is perfect for those who like a flavored coffee. It is one of my favorites.

Lisa from Juneau says: 05/30/2006
Wonderful version of hazelnut! Very rich and satisfying. I will buy this again.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
If I'm gonna drink something flavored, this is it for me. Actually tastes like Hazelnuts

Greg from Monrovia says: 09/07/2007
This is my Sunday morning coffee - a nice break from the usual dark roasts I drink during the daily grind.

Allison from Portland says: 05/21/2008
This is my absolute favorite coffee since I bought the Senseo. If you're into flavored coffees, this is one that's not ridiculously ostentatious. I enjoy a cup nearly every morning.

James from Champaign says: 03/17/2006
Even though this is a "Kona Blend", It has an outstanding Kona profile. The Kona sweetness is not muted by the blended component. Very Nice.

Rieko from Sunnyvale says: 03/20/2006
This is a very nice mild roast with lots of flavor and aroma. Nicely balanced Kona blend.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/12/2006
Seemed watery, lacked any richness or subtle tones. Average at best.

Brandy from Anchorage says: 05/06/2006
I love this Kona. I have tried several and this one is my favorite. Very smooth, great taste, with no bitter edge. I always have it on hand!

from says: 05/24/2006
Well this is not my favorite coffee. But it's primarily because i prefer darker, more full-bodied, thick cups. Whilst this did have that signature Kona smell, and the taste was there, I found the roast too light, and a little thin for my liking. I've yet to review other Kona pods, so I can't compare, obviously. I think for those that prefer lighter cups of coffee, this is a good blend.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
Very smooth. I like the Aloha Island blends better though if you want the hawaiian coffee. That being said, it has a medium body and smooth finish. It's a bit one-dimensional for my tastes though. It went from superb to just ok for me after half a box.

Julie from Westminster says: 01/21/2007
Great Kona blend, another staple in my growing pod arsenal. Can not go wrong is chosing this one.

from says: 08/04/2007
Very disappointing. Just not much flavor. Much prefer the Java One Kona Blend (despite the bad review on this site).

William from North Little Rock says: 01/20/2007
A fantastic pod... great aftertaste, just as described, floral & fruity in character, it is full-bodied and complex. Very smooth, not a hint of bitterness! A really great coffee!

Eli from Austin says: 02/01/2007
Remarkable pod with a pronounced frutiness, especially blueberry, and a general sweetness throughout. For me, this is a coffee that demands attention - not one of those that you sip without thinking about it. One caveat is that the flavors are so pronounced that I prefer alternating this with mellower coffees - too many of these in a row could get overwhelming.

Royal from Sacramento says: 05/12/2007
Not wonderful. Maybe it would be 4 stars if the price point were a bit lower. Hey, I gotta pay for these pods. I might, as well, get a good value. In fact the cost / benefit almost turned me off GC pods entirely. Fortunately, I also ordered the Sumatra Mandehling at the same time. There's some nice coffee! Still, at only 14 pods per box, the GC brand is priced a bit high for what you get.

Chris from Memphis says: 06/21/2007
Wonderful coffee, deep, complex and full-bodied. No bitterness.

Joseph from Morehead City says: 07/06/2007
I didn't think I was a fan of African coffee, until I had this one.

Craig from Richardson says: 07/08/2007
This is probably what I'd serve guests who have never had SSC before... Perhaps my favorite pod so far. 8oz. in OPOD, no milk or sugar.

Alisa from Hope Mills says: 07/22/2007
So far this is my favorite. Strong, but not bitter. Sad that it's a limited edition.

from says: 09/27/2007
An slightly above average cup o'joe. Lacked depth and full flavor. Nice finish.

from says: 10/05/2007
An excellent full bodied complex flavor. Would buy this all the time if it was a regular offering at a lower price.

Mark from Ajax says: 03/21/2006
Excellent smooth coffee. Perfect for a change from the stronger Sumatra

from says: 03/20/2006
I love Betterpods Sumatra. It has great, balanced flavor, with no bite or bitter aftertaste! I highly recommend it!

Jeff from Kalamazoo says: 03/25/2006
I bought the sampler pack from Betterpods to try out all of the varieties they offer. This was definetly a stand out from the rest. It is very smooth and has great flavor. Amazing how much better quality these are then anything I have bought at the grocery store. Great job Betterpods.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/12/2006
Mild flavor with good tones.

Linda from Stony Point says: 05/03/2006
a great cup of coffee, my favorite..smooth and tastes terrific

Walt And Hedy from Valparaiso says: 05/17/2006
Great cup of coffee. The sumatra challenges anything that starbuck has to offer. It does have an strong earthy aftertaste, so if that's not your cup of coffee, try another one.

Sharon from The Villages says: 06/01/2006
I have tried more pods that I ever thought existed. This is the one I always come back to and I will experiment no more. This sumatra is the very best.

Samuel from Redmond says: 06/16/2006
Way too weak, but still kicks the butt of anything from D&E.

Laura from Boynton Beach says: 02/07/2007
Great stuff! I missed it when I ran out of it.

Paul from Houston says: 03/13/2007
The best Sumatran pod on the market. A dark, rich cup of coffee without the bitterness of the RI Sumatran.

Rowena from Walnut Creek says: 05/10/2007
This is the best Sumatra pod on the market today and my favorite. I am never without these pods. It's flavorful, very smooth and not bitter. Thank goodness this pod is not a "limited edition" or I would have to stock this one up by the case.

Royal from Sacramento says: 05/12/2007
Solid cup of joe at a not-too-bad price. There are better coffees on this site but not many of them. This would be a flat-out 5 stars if there were 4 to 6 more pods in the box.

Jeff from Tucson says: 06/02/2007
Brewed a decent cup of dark roast coffee but was nothing to get excited over.

from says: 09/30/2007
Gourmet Cafe's Sumatra is the mildest Sumatra I have ever tasted, probably because it is a medium roast. It lacked full flavor, body, richness, and earthiness. There was no after taste and was fairly smooth.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 04/11/2008
Did not care for this, harsh finish.

Bridget from Greer says: 02/05/2009
Dark, rich, smoky with a fantastic aroma. Wakes you up right. Good and strong, if you're looking for a light after-dinner companion, this is not it. This is a get you out of bed and get moving kind of coffee.

Candice from Scottsdale says: 09/14/2009
I have been drinking Sumatra Mandheling for years and nothing else compares - a great cup of coffee to start the day, not weak, not bitter, full bodied - perfect with a dash of half and half. Enjoy!

David from Fairport says: 03/21/2006
Not my favorite tea (I'm a black tea guy) but provides a nice variety when I'm looking for something different. Nice aroma though, and it contains full leaves, rather than just the fannings (tea dust) that you see in lots of other tea pods. (FYI, I work for BetterPods).

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/12/2006
Good light flavor, nice tones, not bitter.

Jeffrey from Cincinnati says: 10/07/2007
My wife Renee really loves this coffee, I have purchased from BetterCoffee.com many times now. They have really done a great job.

Kathleen from Akron says: 09/14/2009
This was my favorite of all the pods in the Better Coffee Decaf Assortment. I find it strong enough to brew a 14 oz cup (I drink it black) but is not overwhelming at the smaller cup sizes either (7 or 9 oz on my pod brewer are tasty too). Has a good robust taste and smell without being bitter. Nice fully packed pods brew very well.

Christopher from Hawthorne says: 03/12/2007
Though I am far from a genuine connoiseur, I must say that after a mere sip of this coffee – which I got as a sampler pod – it was clear to me that this is a rather pedestrian blend. To my palate, it seemed utterly without character of any kind. I definitely appreciate having been given a sampler pod of it, as it is always very nice to taste a different blend, but it is so abundantly clear that this is one coffee people will want to steer clear of that I felt compelled to write this review. (1 star)

Glenn from Honolulu says: 07/11/2006
Exceptionally good decaf with hazelnut nearly as good as my favorite vanilla rhapsody decaf. Wifes favorite and for good reason.

J from Hudsonville says: 02/27/2007
Mellow and perfectly balanced. Not bitter or too sweet

Vanessa from Boca Raton says: 09/24/2007
My favorite hazelnut so far. Love that it's available in decaf! It's a perfect balance, great coffee for mid afternoon or evening.

Michelle from Parma says: 06/02/2009
I have to agree that this one is under-rated! Most of the Java One line are nothing special, but this is my absolute favorite of all blends and all brands. If I had to choose only one, this would be it.

Jeffrey from Rolla says: 03/21/2007
This is my favorite of the Costa Rican pods and doesn't get the attention it deserves..

Jeffrey from Cincinnati says: 10/07/2007
Renee my wife really likes this blend. I've purchased it about 4 times for her, BetterCoffee.com really does a great job.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 06/07/2006
A pretty good french, not quite the range of notes found in the Gourmet Cafe. For the price it is a very good value.

Jeffrey from Rolla says: 03/21/2007
The description says it all, "bold yet smooth". I enjoy having a cup of this when I drag in from work in the evening.

Jeffrey from Cincinnati says: 10/07/2007
My wife Renee likes this coffee a lot, but does add extra creamer and suger. BetterCoffee.com does a great job getting our coffee to us right away.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Excellent! Makes a good flavored 8 oz cup in the Senseo.

from says: 09/29/2007
You can't go wrong with this one -- it's smoothe, flavorful and doesn't leave an aftertaste. It's reasonably priced, too! It's going on my must have list!

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 11/15/2007
I buy this for my daughter and son-in-law and they are over the moon about this pod. I am a dark roast snob but they absolutely love this medium roast and cannot live without it. Give it a try if you like a good blend with that medium roast quality.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 02/19/2008
This is a good cuppa joe!

Greg from Monrovia says: 02/27/2007
I did not care for this Kona blend. It was flat tasting and the after taste unpleasant. Try the Black Mountain Gold Kona Blend - much better.

Kenneth from Laurel says: 08/04/2007
Thought this was very good. Tried to Gourmet Cafe Kona and was quite disappointed. The Java One has a smooth flavor and body.

Neil from Somerville says: 12/31/2008
Excellent brew. Definitely a good taste of Hawaii without the expensive price tag.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 04/12/2006
Average cup o joe. Decent flavor but I didn't find any "chocolatey notes" in my cup. Slightly bitter after taste.

from says: 01/26/2007
I used to enjoy this one, but newer companies and their pods have surpassed it.

from says: 03/31/2008
One of my favorite pods of all time. I find it just a shade darker than medium roast. Nice strength, and no bitterness.

William from Timonium says: 07/26/2007
I have 2 of the Keurig Kcup coffe makers and they are the best that I have used. The options are just right as to brewing the right coffee and the K cups are mess free and easily cleaned up. Just toss them in the trash.

kurt from bridgewater says: 02/17/2007
I am not a coffee drinker, but my wife is, and that is why this thing is great! We are no longer watering the plants with the remaining pots of coffee when she needs her fix. She can have her coffee, I can have my tea. One of the nice things about the KCups versus the others are that there is a 'blank' KCup that you can add your own coffee or loose tea --perfect for the flavor you can't find in the packaged kcups or the loose teas you get at farmer's markets.

William from Belmont says: 01/31/2010
Very impressed with this product. The Pod is full of Coffee, almost like a double pod, takes a little effort to close the lid on my Grindmaster. Very full flavored, even when running a little extra brewing time. Rich with no after taste.

John from Queen Creek says: 07/23/2007
Do not buy. After drinking and loving this coffee for over a year they have changed their formula. There is less coffee in each pod. The coffee is like Senseo now. My wife hated the original. She said it was to strong for her. Now she loves it. No stars.

JEFF from Corvallis says: 10/25/2007
Buy! Excellent french roast, just dark enough with a very nice finish. Lingers. A memorable cup of coffee.

Christine from Beaverton says: 03/31/2008
Being European, having been transplanted from France to the US, I was desperate to find a pod that would please my 'used to French Petit Cafe' taste buds. Most pods are too weak for my taste, with this espresso roast I was pleasantly surprised! I do own a espresso machine for my daily shot but this pod is a nice addition for use in my Senseo. It has a smooth espresso taste, no bitter after taste, it produces a great 'pick-me-up' cup. Unfortunately the pods make my Senseo go 'pop' and the top pops open. This is the second Senseo that I ruined this way, the first also broke down because of me using too big pods. I tried wetting the pods so they would fit better, that does help a bit but for me it ruins the taste. I'm now on the look-out for another similar tasting pod that would make a better fit.

Michael from Laughlin says: 06/08/2008
I haven't had the problem with "pod pop" with my Senseo. I do like this coffee very much ... it has the espresso taste that helps perk up the afternoon. Close to the Cafejo expresso ... both very nice.

Richard from Bethpage says: 02/14/2009
Very week for something called an Espresso pod and I have one of the best pod machines you can buy.

James from Madison says: 09/22/2008
this was spectacular one of the best hazelnut coffee's i've had

Neil from Somerville says: 12/31/2008
The most natural and delicious Hazelnut yet.

from says: 06/05/2009
Full of flavor with just the right amount of kick! My favorite coffee by far from bettercoffee.com

Lisa from Danville says: 01/31/2008
Didn't care for this one. I bought about a half dozen different types and this is the one that is left. I'll drink it only to not be wasteful, but won't order again. The flavor wasn't smooth or tasty. I prefer dark roasts.

Gary from Saint Louis says: 02/07/2008
I guess this is where 'taste' comes in. My wife and I have loved this flavorful cup since it came out as one of your specials.

richard from los alamos says: 02/19/2008
Can't recommend this pod. I have tried the 1 cup and 2 cup setting. What I get is either way too bitter or too weak. Ultimately, it just produces a watery cup with sharp overtones. Not smooth at all.

from says: 02/16/2009
I'm not usually a flavored coffee drinker, but this one caught my eye and did not disappoint. The aroma alone is worth making a cup.

richard from los alamos says: 09/04/2009
Not a bad blend, but there's not enough chocolate nor toffee for me. Makes a nice cup of joe though.

Esther from Ypsilanti says: 05/23/2010
In my last purchase I got a couple of these to try out. This is now my favorite flavored coffee. The chocolate taste is not as strong as if you were drinking a real mocha drink but it is definitely there. The flavor stands up when it's used to make iced coffee. This stuff is wonderful. I must have more. MORE!

Richard from Milford says: 11/27/2007
Excellent. One of the better Columbians out there. I also enjoy the Eldorado Columbian.

Eric from Moon Twp says: 05/05/2006
Just tried the R.I. Colombia Las Hermosas. I think it's a darker roast than most Columbian pods. Very smooth, and bold. Also has good mouthfeel. A little more intense than most Columbian pods. A really nice changeup from the everyday Columbian.

from says: 01/26/2007
Comes out quite strong in my machine, but still quite smooth. I don't typically like Colombian, but this is pretty good.

michelle from Randolph says: 02/01/2007
This is a good coffee. Bright taste and full aroma. However, if you're looking for a darker and bold experience with a heavier mouth feel, this isn't for you. It is rather on the light side.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/21/2007
Not impressed with this coffee. Not as smooth as some.

Charles from Owasso says: 05/02/2008
It's good, but Michelle is right. It's a bit on the "light" side. Mellow and smooth combination but not at all strong. IMO, Bold, is a reach. Gets a little bit bitter as it cools.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Jusy Ok for me, wouldn't buy again.

Tony from Ft Lauderdale says: 02/16/2009
I noticed this coffee scored 92 on coffeereview.com so I thought I'd give it a try. This is one of the best Colombians I've tasted.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 08/17/2006
This has become my everyday coffee. Rich taste without overpowering, very smooth without a trace of bitterness. I keep trying others but come back to this one.

from says: 01/31/2007
best pod coffee i have tried. rich and strong!

michelle from Randolph says: 02/01/2007
I hail with Steven on this one! Having been used to drinking very dark roasts, it took a bit of adjusting and I gave it a chance. Every bit as rich as a dark blend without the bitterness and jolt. A great start for the day.

Karl from Woodland says: 03/17/2007
Best coffee I have ever had. Almost gave up on my Senseo before I found this one. Now it's an every day thing.

Frank from Henderson says: 07/14/2007
Excellent flavor, rich but not overpowering. 9 oz setting on the Bunn made a perfect morning cup.

Don from Marshall says: 07/14/2007
Originally, when I first started using pods about a year ago, Reunion Island coffees were my favorite. I could always count on the fresh aroma and brew. I tried about 7 varieties and all were fresh, packaging perfect and a good value. I've noticed in recent months, the quality of Reunion Island has declined considerably. Last few I've recieved have been stale, pods were torn and spilled out in box. Such a shame.

from says: 09/29/2007
SO SO Costa Rican POD. Actually, on second thought, its not bad,,,pretty decent but not that rich. Its a very light blend 3 Stars. OPod Brewer Lisa Bonami

Irwin from Spokane says: 10/29/2007
I have to agree with Steven and Michelles posts totally. This is a great cup of coffee, rich, somewhat dark, smooth, not bitter, with almost no bite.

Alex from Great Falls says: 12/21/2007
Not as strong as I expected. I really love Costa Rican Coffee, and am trying all sort of different pods. This one is good, but some of the pods in the box had a different taste (stale? maybe?)Other than that, it is smooth, not too strong and has a very slight "earthtone" aftertaste. Black Mountain Gold remains my favorite :O)

Nina from Summerville says: 02/26/2009
The best pod coffee out there. I just wish it came in decaf. Please, someone please, make a good Costa Rican decaf pod for me! I'm dyin' here!

Craig from Richardson says: 07/12/2007
My wife's favorite from the Decaf sampler.

richard from los alamos says: 09/04/2009
GREAT pod blend. It's not quite on the same level as a cup of freshly ground d*nkin doghnuts coffee, but it is one of the best pod blends I've tasted. No foo-foo tastes, just a good morning cup.

Brian from Marseilles says: 12/22/2009
I love my Senseo brewer, but had a hard time finding a coffee pod that actually tasted good. I have tried several brands and flavors, and finally found this one. The Donut shop blend exceeded my expectations. Awesome smooth taste and definitely my favorite. No nasty after taste, just smooth, good flavor.

J from Hudsonville says: 02/27/2007
A lot of coffee for a fabulous price. Good quality and flavor. Fills my classroom with delicious aroma.

from says: 09/04/2009
Top notch decaf pod. I don't drink decaf, but everyone who tries it loves it.

Eric from Greenwood Village says: 02/08/2007
I'm not usually a flavored coffee fan, but this one (which came in a sampler pack) was very enjoyable - rich & smooth.

amy from aurora says: 03/28/2007
I ordered three different kinds of decaf coffee pods for my simplehuman, and this was my favorite. Great flavor and aroma; I will definitely buy again.

Stephanie from Parma says: 03/09/2008
A nice flavor, though not my favorite by Reunion Island. Tastes best brewed as an 8oz with a little creamer.

William from Portland says: 05/24/2007
Very similar to Reunion Island's Reserve, both morning favorites of mine.

Stephanie from Parma says: 03/09/2008
A very nice everyday coffee. Not too strong with a smooth flavor.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Very good cup of joe! Makes a perfect 8 oz cup in the Senseo with one pod.

Paul from Houston says: 11/30/2008
One of the best cups of coffee to ever come out of my OPOD machine. Very smooth, without being weak. If you're looking for something to drink every day or keep on hand for guests, this is the one.

Kenneth from Laurel says: 09/04/2007
My favorite flavored pod, so far. Very nice balance of flavors - while still letting the coffee shine through.

lisa from New Castle says: 11/30/2007
After so many years of using senseo irish cream, I finally made the sooner. Great coffee!!

Scott from Flower Mound says: 03/06/2008
We have tried a wide variety of flavored pods from different brands. RI Irish Cream is a top 3 for us.

Nicholas from Columbia says: 03/07/2008
I ordered this for my wife when she could no longer get the Irish Cream pods for her Senseo from Amazon due to being discontinued. She loves it and says that it taste fantastic.

Bridget from Greer says: 02/05/2009
Amazing. Smooth, rich, flavorful with a wonderful aroma. One of my favorites.

richard from los alamos says: 09/04/2009
Wow! Tons of irish cream come through this great pod. So much that it would be a little over the top for constant drinking. I like to mix this with other reunion island pods. Doesn't taste fake.

Eric from Moon Twp says: 05/05/2006
What a unique blend. The flavor did not hit me quite right, but hey, you can't like everything. Very bold, and excellent mouthfeel for a pod. Can't wait to try their other offerings.

Tina from Smyrna says: 05/23/2006
I like this blend. It's a very bold, dark cup, without a trace of bitterness or smokiness to it. It also tasted quite thick to me. I had it with cream, no sugar. I definitely noticed the winey-ness in it, and would compare it with some of the better (char-free, not over-roasted) french roasts I've had in my life. And i love a good french-roast. It is also incredibly smooth. it's definitely a "grown-up" coffee.

from says: 06/14/2006
Very good blend. I compared this to my previous favorite Gourmet Cafe's estate costa rican and in my opinion this one is even better. Very rich taste, thicker mouth feel, interesting finish. A little strong to be an everyday coffee which is why i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

from says: 11/15/2007
One of the best pods that I have had the pleasure of. Not bitter, not burnt or chard. A very well balanced tasty blend.

from says: 02/16/2009
Very good blend. Usually I go for origins, but this coffee is so well-balanced and aromatic that I think it might be my new favourite.

from says: 06/30/2010
We are adding this to our favorites list. Loved the aroma and taste.

Jennifer from Deerfield Beach says: 12/01/2009
I don't care for these pods at all. Coffee tastes weak and thin.

David from Valencia says: 03/22/2007
after trying many of the dark ones this is my favorite. Not too strong and a wonderful rich taste.

Tina from Smyrna says: 05/26/2006
This is a very nice everyday cup. It's a dark roast, but there is no trace of smokiness or char. It's very mellow with a sweet aroma and no surprises. Mouthfeel is a little thin, but overall the flavor is very good.

Steven from Carlisle says: 06/22/2006
I found this disappointing. I had high expectations after falling in love with Reunion Island's Sumatra, but found the Privateer tasted like it had sat on a burner for an extended period of time and cooked. Normally I'm a fan of a very dark, Italian or French roast, but to me at least, this one doesn't pull it off.

Thomas from Winnipeg says: 06/28/2006
This is a coffee that I do not want to be without. Exceptionally smooth, and has a chocolate aroma and a faint hint of orange on tasting

gary from Honolulu says: 08/21/2006
Excellent rich full flavor without any bitterness

James from Hamden says: 10/25/2006
Like Steve from Carlisle, I was disappointed and felt this coffee tasted charred. It also has a pretty thin feel in the mouth and tastes a little on the acidy side. I did not get smooth or rich at all.

Barry from Highland Park says: 04/08/2007
Good deep roast flavor with a bit of bite that gives it depth and character. Full flavored way to start the day.

Jeff from Tucson says: 06/02/2007
This was my second favorite of the dark Roast sampler I received. It brewed a good strong cup of coffee but did not have a bitter burnt flavor

Caron from Lino Lakes says: 07/09/2007
Discovered this wonderful pod in the dark sampler. It has become my favorite. Very rich, dark roast quality with no charred or burned taste. Very yummy (to quote my granddaughter referring to chocolate milk, of course).

Aaron from Rochester says: 09/06/2007
I really like a dark roast, and this fits the bill. Not quite a meal in a cup, but once you start drinking it it's difficult to not make cup after cup.

Irwin from Spokane says: 10/01/2007
Upon opening the package my nose immediately noticed an intense pleasing coffee aroma waking up my drowsy early moring brain. Privateer is a good cup of coffee, a little bitter with a bite, flavorfull but intense and bold. 3 stars for this good cup of java.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Good, but too strong for me.

Tony from Ft Lauderdale says: 02/16/2009
Wow. This is bar none the best dark coffee blend that I've found in pods. Perfect!!!

Eric from Metamora says: 01/18/2008
This is delightful mild cup of coffee. This coffee has a very nice subtle pumpkin taste with the added benefit of spice after every sip. Half and half with a dash of sugar helps intensifies the flavoring.

Steven from Cedar Rapids says: 06/07/2006
Very Good with a rich flavor and good body. Just a bit of bite as it rolls off the back of the tongue.

Eli from Austin says: 06/26/2006
This is a seriously dark roast, almost Peet's style. There is a fair amount of depth behind the charcoal, and a sweet flavor (chocolate? caramel?) that keeps the dark roast flavor from completely dominating the cup. I really like it, but its by no means a subtle cup of coffee. Plenty rich enough to do 8oz without strain.

michelle from Randolph says: 02/01/2007
I agree with Eli. This is bold, smooth, rich, aromatic and has a very good mouth-feel, body. It's become my premier flave, though I'm pretty new to pods. No burndt taste here. In my Senseo I wet it and pack it into the 2 cup basket & brew it on one cup as the Senseo might open in the middle of brewing anything but a Senseo pod. What is up with that anyway!!!!!!

Barry from Highland Park says: 04/08/2007
Deep roasted flavor and a smooth finish. A nice, full flavored cup of coffee to start the day or to sit back and relax. I've been told the production problems on the pods has been addressed.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Way too strong for me, and I like a robust cuppa...

Katherine from Shokan says: 07/13/2008
Really dissapointed... First lest me say, the website neglected to mention that the 10g pods require some special handling when using a Senseo. So that may be the problem. I've tried several coffee pod brands and wasted many. Basically can only use 4oz.cup twice to get even a decent cup but this brand in particular produced more of a "coffee tea" than a rich cup of coffee because I can't lock the machine for 1 pod holder size and then too watery when I follow the "special" directions using the 2 pod holder. Note: BetterCoffee did enclose Senseo tips in the order, but it would have been helpful to know before making the purchase.

from says: 02/16/2009
Very bold coffee. Not for the faint of heart, but perfect if you like Starbucks or Peets.

Reiff from Dayton says: 05/03/2009
This is perhaps the strongest pod coffee I've found. It tops my former favorite, Timothy's Rainforest Espresso. It costs 30% more, though, so I'll keep some of both in the house.

Robert from Fairport says: 07/28/2010
I've been buying coffee here for years. This is the best out of all the pods I've tried. Wonderfully aromatic, slightly astringent, with a healthy dose of the complex, herbal flavor that Sumatra coffee is known for. A great cuppa!!

Steven from Carlisle says: 06/22/2006
In terms of taste, perhaps my favorite pod coffee ever. Great aroma and taste. Smokey, rich, and spicey. Pleasant aftertaste. Good mouth feel--neither too thin nor too thick. But serious quality control problems. Five out of the first 20 pods were cut or burst. Betterpods kindly sent a replacement box, but several of them were also burst.

Barry from Highland Park says: 04/08/2007
This is my favorite pod coffee. Very deep roasted and a wonderfully full flavor that lets me feel like I'm drinking a real cup of coffee in the morning. My first sip surprised me, but the more I drank the more I appreaciated the depth of flavor, with a nice sweetness in the finish. I also experienced some broken pods, but have been assured this quality problem has been rectified.

Frank from Henderson says: 07/21/2007
I've tried 6 different brands/types so far, and this is my #1 choice. Rich flavor, great aroma, no burnt aftertaste. Use 8-10oz setting on a Bunn.

from says: 08/15/2007
Like the others said, terrific and it even works well in my little Senseo.

from says: 10/17/2007
Sumatra is my favorite cup of coffee, I love the earthy full bodied and bold flavor, however Reunion's Sumatra was a bit bitter and lacked earthiness, however is was very smokey.

from says: 01/25/2008
Excellent pod with dark, deep flavors. Would definitely recommend.

Kimberly from Kent says: 01/12/2009
I was pleaseantly suprised by this one. I normally find sumatran coffees a bit acidic and harsh, but this one had a nice flavor. It was strong, but not over powering.

Rebecca from Sammamish says: 06/01/2009
I couldn't brew any flavor of Reunion in my Senseo, the top popped open and sent water and coffee everywhere. So I cannot rate the flavor at all.

Eric from Metamora says: 01/22/2008
Very good cup of coffee. No bitter or burnt after taste, just the flavor of Swiss Mocha Almond taste. Cream and sugar used to enhance the flavor.

Stephanie from Parma says: 02/22/2008
This coffee has a really nice flavor, but many of the pods were off center and the coffee would leak out of the pod. The pods that were usable made a great tasting 4oz cup of coffee.

Bill from Madisonville says: 12/27/2008
My first "favorite"! The mocha almond flavoring is strong, making this an excellent desert coffee for those who like flavored coffee. The most dominant flavor is almond, followed by mocha. Every sip was wonderful!

Richard from Milford says: 01/12/2010
Has become a house favorite. A great cup of joe!

from says: 05/28/2007
Yummy coffee. Maybe a little weak in flavor. The main problem is the individual wrappings on each pod are cut to make opening easier unfortuantely the machine which makes these cuts must be miscalibrated and it cuts too far into the packaging meaning that the pods are exposed to air. Some of them were even cut open allowing coffee grounds to escape to make a mess.

from says: 01/25/2008
Too weak in flavor and no aroma. Drinks OK, but I expected more from this.

from says: 02/16/2009
Awesome decaf. A true dark roast taste profile. No packaging issues with mine.

Rieko from Sunnyvale says: 08/04/2006
This is absolutely the best chocolate flavored coffee pod. Tastes much like the tiramisu dessert without the calories. Hope this one comes back and as a regular flavor.

from says: 11/18/2007
yummy...I have never seen a toasted marshmallow coffee before. But I love marshmallows, so I tried it. Very good! Thank you Better Pods for including instructions with your quick shipment of product. I have a Senseo Maker, and your advice worked perfectly. Thank you again for the great value and service! What a find!

Alex from Great Falls says: 12/21/2007
Good, smooth, not strong and sweet!! I don't really taste the marshmallow, but it has that sweet taste to it... you almost don't need to add sugar. I am very glad I tried it, and I'm not too much of a flavored coffee guy, but I liked this one :O)

Eric from Moon Twp says: 05/05/2006
Vanilla Bean time. This surprised me, as the other two R.I. pods I have tried are quite bold. I think they used a lighter roast, as this pod is smooth and subtle. Just a hint of vanilla, and a sweet finish. Not a big flavored coffee fan, but this was OK.

from says: 12/21/2007
Great French Vanilla coffee! I don;t really enjoy flavored coffee that much, but this one is the best vanilla pod out there! I have tried different brand of vanilla pods: senseo, folgers... and Black Mountain gold; but this one has the best flavor of all. Smooth coffee and great taste... even if you don't care much about flavored coffee ;O)

Charles from Owasso says: 04/30/2008
Good taste. A little bit weak. Nice flavors but understated. Definitely not an in your face vanilla. Enjoyable but not my favorite.

from says: 02/16/2009
Mmmmm...Love this one! Smooth and delicious.

Michael from Laughlin says: 06/08/2008
I'm still working to get the correct pod "formula" ... it is peppery, a bit washed out but it does do what chamomile is supposed to ... gets me safely sleepy.

Laura from Boynton Beach says: 02/07/2007
I expected something a little more intense than this. It's pretty much plain tea with a hint of spice, which is OK if that's what you want.

Tara from Montague says: 02/22/2010
I LOVE Chai tea. This one is kind of weak, but if you add cinnamon to it, it is much better. I also add whipped cream sometimes.

Paul from Saint Albans says: 04/01/2008
I have had two of these (which have now been either recalled or discontinued)due to failure of the charging system. The first one I had failed in two weeks and there are no replacement part available and the warranty of 1 year (well tough luck after it expires) The second one they sent me under warranty lasted almost the full warranty perriod when it just stopped putting out water. I called and they said we no longer make this brewer and will have a new one out in 2009 (web site says 2008) but the teck says the new one needs tweeked and will not be ready this year. So it's a great counter top looker, but a poor excuse for a brewer. Take the BUNN it does not look as good but has outlasted both the simplehuman brewers

James from Hamden says: 10/19/2006
The Simplehuman A40 brews hot, brews fast and brews in two sizes: 5 oz. and 8 oz. No double pods. Just a single pod and 5 or 8 oz. of decent coffee. It’s easy to use, looks good on the counter and stays crunchy even in milk! /ren hoek The A40 comes with two pod holders: a brown one for deeper pods like Baronet’s 12 oz. megapods, and a green one for more normal-sized pods. I of course had to try the green one with a megapod, and it did NOT work. Brewing stopped about halfway through and water leaked out of the head unit. Don’t try this at home! 10 oz. or bigger should use the brown pod holder. Further, if you like to double up your pods, note that the A40 does NOT accept double pods and it does not work with specialty drink pods like cappucinos or hot chocolate, etc. It exists solely to brew coffee and/or tea, which it does very well. Some single-pod coffee makers give off a plasticy taste, so to make sure the A40 wasn’t going to be one of them, after priming the machine I ran a cup of plain water and drank it. It tasted like hot, filtered water. Score another one for the Simplehuman A40. Pods should be pre-moistened with the A40. I just run then very quickly top and bottom under the filtered water stream in the sink. It helps seal the pod’s edges to the holder and helps the extraction process. Otherwise you’re asking a lot of water to force its way through two layers of a dry filter in about 20 seconds. You’ll have better results with a pre-moistened pod. The Simplehuman A40 gets my hearty endorsement...like that means anything. :) Still, it’s a great machine, and at $129.99 it’s still a fairly reasonable alternative to the Bunn brewer that costs $199.

Lee from Los Alamos says: 12/18/2007
Worked good for about 1.25 years, it started leaking bad during the brew cycle and now no longer works. Warranty no longer valid. I would not recommend.

THOM from SAINT PETERSBURG says: 03/17/2008
So far (since Jan 08)I have not been disappointed. It WILL do double pods. I have this insatiable desire to mix my flavors to make good strong tea and coffee. I have used pods from this site and pods from a higher end provider (Gev---). If you shake contents to one half and put pods in holder side-by-side they fit perfect. I have made a lot of cups of tea and coffee without a sigle problem. I have had other single cup pod brewers but this is my favorite. It is compact, nice design, fast, and easy to clean. For hot chocolate it makes a fast cup of hot water for instant mix.

from says: 05/17/2007
My very favorite pod.A very good everyday coffee.

from says: 12/07/2007
It took me a while to discover this pod because I have always associated breakfast blends with boring, cheap coffee. I was finally convinced to try this one by several positive reviews on this site and elsewhere. I'm glad I did as this is now my favorite pod. A light roast that tastes great from start to finish.

Jared from Livonia says: 02/28/2007
Tastes good.

Mary from Durham says: 08/09/2007
My favorite pod, very good flavor.

from says: 08/27/2007
Using Senseo. Excellent flavor. Not bitter.

from says: 09/30/2007
No Way is this a 5 star coffee pod. Its good...but not great. I give it 3.5 stars. Its a bit weak even for a breakfast blend. But it is flavorful. Lisa Bonami. Opod. 3.5 stars

Stephanie from Parma says: 02/22/2008
One of the better breakfast blends I have had. It has a clean finish and is even better with a little cream.

Heather from Marshfield says: 04/01/2008
This is my favorite pod. I have many other pods, but I keep coming back to this every morning. Just the right blend, not too light, not too dark. no bitterness. A perfect cup every time in my opod.

Theresa from Broomfield says: 05/14/2008
Too weak.

from says: 02/16/2009
Too mild for me and seemed to lack aroma.

Royal from Sacramento says: 05/12/2007
A lighter cup. For those of you with Senseos, this type of pod seems to work significantly better when you have a hand pressed down on it.

Michael from Mont Vernon says: 04/22/2006
Best Columbian coffee I have ever had. Nice medium roast. Fruity, nutty flavors with a clean finish. I always want another sip when the cup is empty. Must try for Columbian coffee lovers.

Thomas from Winnipeg says: 06/02/2006
Mild, very flavourful (toasted almonds?), perhaps one of the best 'lighter' coffee's I've tried. Drunk black.

Kathie from Akron says: 06/12/2006
I have tried a good many pods since getting my Simple Human machine. This is the best pod that I have tried so far. It comes as close to a cup of freshly ground Columbian as I have been able to find. I'll be keeping this one in stock!!!

from says: 06/16/2006
Worst pod ever. OMG, it's so weak and tastes like Folgers. Absolutely no body or distinction or flavor. I can't say enough bad things about it. My wife hated it also.

Eli from Austin says: 06/20/2006
Much lighter roast than most others from this site - took a couple of cups to get adjusted to it. Mild dusty, curry powder aroma. Suprisingly full bodied, with a bright citrus taste and a long, complex, bittersweet finish.

from says: 01/31/2007
Terrible, tan water.

Barry from Highland Park says: 04/08/2007
Flavor was OK, but too light of a cup of coffee for my taste (I tend to prefer dark roast). Nice choice for those who like a milder cup.

David from Valencia says: 07/19/2009
Another one of our top favorites. There are always a few boxes of this one in our order. I don't understand how people can be so ignorant to rate it low because it is a light coffee. If you don't like lighter coffees that's fine, but it's your choice not that the coffee is bad.

Brenda from Fairburn says: 10/26/2007
Best Decaf yet!! Nice full aroma, great smooth taste!! It is on my list of favorites!

Maru from Oceanside says: 04/28/2007
Good hazelnut coffee. Note pod diameter though (55mm) it didn't seal properly in my KP-1010 Home Cafe. So I couldn't buy more of it.

Adam from South Riding says: 05/10/2007
I bought this pack and the flavor sampler pack. This was by far my favorite (glad it was the one I had the most of!). As a side note, I have the KP-1010 Home Cafe as well. I did not have any issues with the pods in my machine.

Michael from Mont Vernon says: 04/22/2006
I usually don't like blended coffee, but this one is very good. Italion flavor in a medium roast. Excellent flavor, body and s nice clean finish.

Jenson from San Francisco says: 07/28/2006
I would recommend these pods, but for my machine (Krups 1010) the results were inconsistent because of the shape of the pods. The symmetric shape allowed hot water to flow AROUND the pod often, which resulted in watery coffee. When extraction was good, the coffee was about 4 stars.

Eli from Austin says: 07/31/2006
This is a complex, smooth cup of coffee. Caramel, nuts, and a little bit of sharpness on the finish. Very interesting tastes, if just a little on the thin side.

John from East Boston says: 03/06/2007
I had the same problem as Jenson from San Francisco with my Senseo machine: the 55mm symetrical types just never quite set correctly. When the brewer mojo was right, this was a good morning blend for every day coffee. but I'm too uncoordinated before my first coffee to make it! what a tragic catch 22

Paul from Houston says: 03/13/2007
Probably my favorite Timothy's pod. Just a nice cup of coffee, almost like comfort food. Nothing too complex, just enjoyable. Works fantastic in my OPOD, but they were tough to jam in my old Senseo. Hopefully these also are part of the new flat top redesign.

Dave from Hardwick says: 04/13/2007
This has become my favorite pod. A smooth, flavorful, medium roast. I have a Bunn My Cafe, and a brew this at the 7 oz. setting...just right!

Lisa from Danville says: 06/05/2007
I like the flavor of this one, but have to struggle getting it to sit right so I can close the drawer on my OPOD and start brewing. It takes about as long to do that as it does to actually brew the coffee! It is a hassle when I'm in a hurry.

Leo from Athens says: 08/20/2006
A good, dark coffee, approaching an Espresso, less the crema top. Some samples didn’t work well in my brewer, behaving like the ground was too fine, and the water had trouble flowing through – although I don’t know if that was the cause.

Irwin from Spokane says: 10/17/2007
A Grrrreat cup of coffee, not quite an Expresso, but very flavorful, aromatic, smooth, with several outstanding tones beaming through. 5 big ones!

Reiff from Dayton says: 05/25/2008
This is the best strong coffee pod I've been able to find. Most brands are weak even if you double-up. This one gives a nice strong coffee flavor with just one pod. (Don't expect espresso, though.) It is a big pod (10 grams), but it's flat on top, so it fits well despite its large size.

Julie from Redwood City says: 12/13/2007
This is a great way to try a bunch of different coffees from different brands. I've tried samplers before, but ones that contained different coffees from the same manufacturer.

Julie from Redwood City says: 12/13/2007
It looks like my review for decaf shows up under the regular French Roast also. I give the regular 3 stars.

Julie from Redwood City says: 12/13/2007
This was definitely not enjoyable. I dumped this one out. For decaf, I think the Diedrich Columbian is better. You might give this a chance if you are a French Roast lover and looking for a decaf.

Kenny from Scottsdale says: 04/25/2007
I love this coffee, would buy again.

wayne from ridge says: 08/09/2007
Excellent coffee. I drink this or jet fuel as my first cup and it tastes great just as much as it gets me going.

Michael from Laughlin says: 06/08/2008
Amazingly good ... especially for a decaf! Smooth, nice body and not watery (like a lot of decaf).

from says: 05/18/2009
Flat. Acidic. Gave me an upset stomach.

from says: 10/03/2007
my favorite k-cup favorite :) strong, rich, smooth & bold

Julie from Redwood City says: 12/13/2007
I am not usually a fan of flavored coffees, but this one is a favorite. It has a nice mix of coffee flavor and toffee flavor.

Julie from Redwood City says: 12/13/2007
Lots of people love this one (based on reviews I've read on various sites), but I didn't think it tasted much like cappuccino and was lighter tasting than I expected.

Stacey from Pittsfield says: 05/10/2007
Loved all the flavors and very much enjoyed having a variety to choose from.

Julie from Redwood City says: 12/13/2007
This is one of my husband's favorite coffees. He likes a lot of different flavored coffees, but not nuts. He was surprised that he liked this one so much.

Sheryl from Aiea says: 08/18/2007
Delicious! Very flavorful without being too tart

Irwin from Spokane says: 05/18/2009
The only Timothy's K-cup I like. Very flavorful, a bit thin. Slight watery mouth feel. Best breakfast blend to be found anywhere.

from says: 05/18/2009
Nothing special. Just regular coffee. Not bitter, lacking full flavor. Not very robust.

Sheryl from Aiea says: 06/21/2007
Delicious! Wonderful aroma and mild, fruity taste

Julie from Redwood City says: 12/13/2007
This is definitely one of my favorite bold k-cup coffees. Strong without being bitter.

from says: 02/20/2009
coffee is great just too expensive
